new start, we have let things slip

welcome treaclepie. Im needing a lot of motivation to do anything at the moment but I am still trying. I would love to lose 2 stone but will be very happy if could lose a stone as its this stone i always struggle with. Lose it then i eat cake, lose it again and then i eat more cake so really hoping I start seeing some results and that I finally manage to keep it off. but knowing my history I will be at this same game for years to come but the intentions are all good. My weigh in day is usually a sunday or a monday. Really want 2lbs off this week but once again will settle for a pound. One more day to work then im on leave next week with the intention of getting to the gym and going to some of the classes at the gym but lets see :)
 
i am so a member of the 1lb club, so 1lb off this week.
 
Hi FB, me too, I dropped a pound !! Had a relaxed weekend, not terrible foods....just more of them !! Hehe !!
Hoping this week for a pound or two, really want to get past this 70 lb / 5 st lost !!! As I need the motivation !! Still not doing enough exercise, and my walking has dropped to a few normal walks, not my fat stomping ones!!

12stone 3lbs!! so appear to be going back in the right direction. Lets hope it lasts. Week off is tiring so far as had to empty the bedroom as getting fitted furniture put in but this has meant the whole house is now a mess as my bedroom is big and i clearly have too much stuff including clothes. They are fitting them tomorrow, thurs and friday so i know the weekend will be spent trying to get bedroom back together again but i think i will need longer as really need to sort through my stuff. But I have been good exercise wise. I went to body combat on Monday and RPM (spinning) today. Foodwise - so so this week.
Has the bootcamp started fb? and well done on the pound losses. I will settle for a pound this coming week x
 
no boot camp yet, have been busy so just have not found the time yet to start them.
 
foodwise I have ruined it but have personal training in the morning so hopefully that will give me a boost for Mondays weigh in. Hope youre all doing ok.
 
Hanging in there, but food is really dominating my thoughts.... I mean I am drooling over what I will be eating at the weekend, on a Tuesday !!! Grrrrrrr !!
Food is just fuel......food is just fuel....... I really shouldn't fantasize over it !! I really want to do a load of baking......but in this frame of mind it would be dangerous!! So will not !! Have been pottering around in the garden to keep out of the kitchen and that helps.

Let's try and stay strong.... I've come too far to throw all this hard work away....we all have........

i like the food is just fuel mantra but food is so comforting is nice too. well done on resisting the baking - very dangerous indeed. Hope we all get some losses this week. its not looking like im headed for a loss but its not monday yet so theres still time x
 
lets just take each day at a time and do not beat ourselves up over a slip up, as they say built a bridge and set over it.thinking to much about mistakes just makes us upset and wanting to say to hell with this i will eat what i want.

if only i could practise what i preach, saying that have not done anything wrong food wise so far this week so 2lb would be nice but know m ite is more likely to be 1lb.
 
i report a half a pound loss for the week. I can live with that seeing as I did really badly with the food this week. I am hoping for at least a pound by next Monday. Trying to refocus. Hope you all have losses to report xoxo
 
a loss is good fso, i am reporting 1.5lbs off this week as i said in last post 2 would have been nice but thought i would only get 1 so at least i got the average of the 2.
 
I lost a pound....I am 191 will celebrate more if I stay here :D

Struggling with Icecream this week ..... Snickers Bars, yes portion control and cc but one a day this week, no, no, no !! :eek:

well done on the losses girls. I have finally been diagnosed with an infection in my tummy after 6 months of discomfort. had to have an endoscopy where they put a tube with a camera down throat into tummy to have a look round. They said it looked clear. Unfortunately they forgot to take the biopsy so I had to go through it again. I was not impressed. The biopsy confirmed i have an infection and they have put me on high doses of 2 antibiotics and another medication for 7 days. Fingers crossed it does the trick. I am still in 2 minds about complaining as the doc carrying out the endoscopy clearly didnt read the notes that stated to take the biopsy and I chose to have no sedation so had to feel it all and try not to wretch too much. They said I was a model patient and then I asked them if they took biopsy and it was like oh oh. Well going through that again wasnt nice and I wasnt as relaxed but even then i got through it but really annoyed. anyway i know I have lost a little more and can only hope what i saw on the scales today will be there when i weigh in tomorrow. It means I must not ruin it today. heres hoping :)
 
fso, thay must have been awful. would not fancy the tube down once never mine twice. hope your result is still good tomorrow.
 
guess how much i lost this week, big clap for anyone who said 1lb. omg this is coming off soo slowly but saying that i am happy as i am into new stones.

Well done FB getting through to a new number !! Always a good feeling !!!

FSO that just sounds awful....poor you.... I hate Hospitals, full stop, and I would be a very bad patient !!! You got through it amazingly well, that's awesome. I hope the meds help and that it all clears up, I would be sitting IN the fridge eating the contents ...with the other hand on Speed Dial to the Take Aways !!!! Hehehe !!! Hang in there !!!

thanks fb and diva. I have had to phone in sick as i feel so unwell and nauseated all day. Went in to work yesterday but really struggled so decided enoughs enough as I need to get better. I feel so off all day but by the evening im starving so end up eating lots.
Well done FB for getting under 11stone and 1lb off each week will do me.
Diva you mentioned a few posts ago that you were struggling with ice cream and snicker bars. Ben and Jerrys do a frozen yoghurt and sorbet range which would be better and to be honest I have got used to the tastes of the frozen yoghurt and can kid myself that its as creamy and yummy as real ice cream. But I guess the next difficulty is that you have to limit to 1 or 2 scoops and not eat the whole tub as I can happily do. The scales said 12st 1 yesterday so a loss but I did see lower earlier in the week. i would like to get down to 12st by next monday - fingers crossed for us all xoxo
