managed another kettlebell class this morning 3rd this week and 5 miles walked. have another kettlebell class tomorrow i am determinded to get back to my target of 9st 12 as i put on 1lb each of the 2 weeks over xmas, still a free member but want to get the 2 off again and maybe aim for 2 more off after that.

Sounds like your doing fab to losing those pounds. Keep it up and they'll fly off :)
 
well done fb. I return to work tomorrow so hopefully will get back in to a routine. Managed the gym yesterday and today which im pleased about. Foodwise it all went wrong so restarted today - heres hoping x
 
deffo the 1lb club, 1 pound off today so back at 9st 13lbs.
 
the 1lbs club has always been our motto so well done. I stuck to the correct foods yesterday and so far so good today too. Off to the gym shortly. Diva - where art thou? xoxo
 
Hi gals !!! Lost my Christmas gain this week, so back down to 217 !!! As long as it's going down, eh ??? I'm alive and kicking, hehe !!! Doing another 20 miles walking this week hopefully and sticking to cal counting and the biggest problem for me..... Portion control !!!! No naughty things in the house, except my cats, who haven't quite forgiven me for taking away all the Christmas pretties which they love to play with !!!!
Going to have to buy a new outfit for a posh party at the end of Feb !!! Hoping to be under 210 lbs before
I hit the shops!!!

good goal to work towards for end of february and all the best wish the portion control and cal counting. Any ideas on the sort of outfit youre gonna get? Took a day off the gym today as was aching too much. Hoping to go tomorrow. Lets see. Hope both your weeks are going well xoxo
 
Hi girls. Im off away for the weekend and know its going to be filled with tonnes of food that I wont be able to resist. Its the first break ive had in a long time so Im not gonna worry too much and enjoy my time there. Will post damage upon return :)
 
fso, yes i agree just enjoy your weekend away, diva well done on the walking. i do approx 28-30 miles a week and really think it has helped my weight loss, if i cannot get the walking in i am terrified i will put the weight back on.

Already walked 5 miles today.... It feels so good when I am in the zone for walking!!! Lost 2 lbs this week, which helps too !!!

Hi girls - fab weekend - lots of walking, even did some gym, spa and spa treatments but wait for it... tonnes and tonnes of food so guess what? 2lbs gain!!!! Not great but I guess could have been worse. Im sure it will come off if im sensible this week. Also tried archery in the freezing cold. Was a very girly break and was good fun. welcome rosemarie, we are not judgemental here so all are welcome. fso, glad you enjoyed your weekend away, you so deserve to have some fun. viva keep up the walking go girl. maintaining my target weight so i am happy, may try to loss another couple of lbs in a few weeks.
 
can i ask a question re your walking? how much walking do you both do per day? Had a very stressed out day yesterday which is looking like it will become a stressful week but just gonna take each day as it comes. Need to get back in to the gym but that doesnt seem to be happening but will think about that after this week. Hope youre both having good weeks x
 
Hi !! I am walking 5 days out of 7 .... been having the weekends off, or doing slow little walks with Mr D then ( he has a back injury so is taking it easy) I walk about 4 miles or so a day to reach my 20 miles target per week.
When I am doing a walking challenge that rises to about 27 to 28 miles per week usually. What I am really trying to manage is to walk regularly throughout this year, not stop start if I can help it !! The only thing which will stop me will be an injury or illness !!!
Walking is the easiest form of exercise I can squeeze into my day.... it's cheap, quick and you can do it anywhere !!! Hehehe !!!
Diet wise I would say I am managing 5 good days out of 7, relaxing at the weekends, not perfect but getting there....

ok that makes sense and sounds sensible - thats a lot of walking but like you say it works - i am impressed. I managed the gym yesterday evening and went to a spinning class this morning. But i know for me its the food so re-starting food diary to make sure i watch what i eat. I am on 2 weight loss challenges in my real life. One where we have all put £20 into a pot and whoever wins gets the money - 3 of us are doing that. Today signed up to another one with someone from the gym but this one is for 30 days from today and with the gym friend i had started liking but who still had baggage - we have remained friends at least and might just motivate me as was embarassing him seeing what I weighed which today was 11stone 10 so I have lost the centerparcs weight. I agree with you diva re the archery it was fun but not something I would get excited over - I think part of the fact was cos it was soooo cold. Would give it another go but on a warmer day. So for the next 30 days remind me that I have to show my weight to my gym friend and that should remind me to keep focused - you have my permission to not be supportive when I turn to food comfort for the next 30 days but to be really mean!!!
Ok something else - I start a cake decorating course this week for i think 10 weeks - I must not try the cake!! Must give cake away if bring cake home. Hoping we decorate dummy cakes and not real cakes - will get an idea tonight after first class. Ok best get ready for work. Hope youre both ok - and remember remind me to stay focused as gotta beat gym friend for sake of pride!!! lol
 
Cake decorating....yummy !!! Move away from the cake !! Hehe !! I wouldn't be able to... If I'm being honest.... I'm not baking at the mo, due to lack of control, plus Mr D is trying to cut down on the extras as he is unable to exercise at all.
Those are a couple of nice Challenges you've joined, good luck !! The cash one sounds good....... Retail therapy in mind !!!
Well, it's freezing here....and I've indulged in two Coffees, so I need to get a wriggle on with the walking, before my day gets manic !!!
