Hazelnut hot choc with whipped cream is good but not THAT good :p x

They definitely taste better being sponge bob shaped :p technically not free but since I specially got wholemeal pasta ones I am counting it as free :p used to be all spaghetti hoops / pasta shapes were free on sw and Iost weight so hopefully my little tweaks won't do any harm! Already been using wholemeal bagels and pittas this week so I'm ok with slightly bending rules :p x

Might have to invest in this pasta! A little bend in the rules does no harm ;0)

While I am still deciding between ww and sw and general somewhere in between made up diet I am kind of tweaking bits and pieces. Nothing crazy just like the tinned spaghetti shapes in tomato sauce/ wholemeal bagel/ wholemeal pitta.

Well I found a bottle of innocent orange juice in the fridge yum and just had some with lunch. I know it's not free so that we don't go crazy and drink tonnes of it, but since we can have smoothies I am gona try having some not from concentrate juice too and see what happens.

Logically I never use any activity points so they should cover it. Would be interested in using up activity points but not on junk - like maybe fresh orange juice, flavoured yoghurt and quorn sausages things like that and see if losses still occur, anyway just interested as I know some people use up all their activity points and still lose.

Just rambling really :p x

It makes sense. I think when you find a plan that works for you it is ok to tweak like that. I don't think any of these diet/ eating plans contain a magical formula, I think its just about giving us folks that haven't ever been so good at naturally moderating our choices and consumption some rules and guidelines which allow us make better choices and moderate our intake of things that aren't good for us in bigger quantities.

Really need to have french toast soon. Might have it for lunch when I get back from the gym tomorrow.

Must admit I miss fresh orange juice, just begrudge my points going on it but I like the idea of using ap points for it as I never count those.

All makes sense including the French toast ;0)

My partner thinks it's stupid that I'm not allowed fresh orange juice! (I refuse to use pp on drink)!

My partner has almost a pint of orange juice a day, has seemed to stop him getting the colds going around!

I liked French toast so much I had it again - trying to use up food you already have in rather than buying any more has it's advantages.

Hope you aren't all just reading and thinking for ****s sake just stick to plan and stop tweaking ;-)

It's just that I think my new target is going to be 9stone (in a thread I'm active in a lot of the ladies want to get to 8st7lb so I thought I'd aim for that too but realistically I just want to be a little smaller and more toned than I am now don't want to get into size 8s or 6s!) which isn't that far away now so just seeing how I can make things work long term - I like fresh orange juice but grudge the points, same with flavoured yoghurt - if I wasnt on this diet plan I would be having them so might as well gradually introduce bits and see how it goes - knowing that activity points should cover it means hopefully I can just be relaxed about it all which is my main aim I don't want to have to worry about points or syns or whatever for life - just make decent choices and hopefully maintain when I get there.

Feel like a bit of a hypocrite actually as I know my diet isn't particularly healthy at the mo - that's mostly due to finances - when I have money again down the line I will definitely be having lots of yummy fruit and veg snacks rather than just crisps and biscuits! X

If you don't use your activity points maybe you could try out having some fruit juice too? Worth a try maybe obviously if weight loss stops just cut it back out but to be honest I don't think having the odd glass of OJ is really gona cause any gains. X

Think I will give the OJ a go :0)

It seems I am rubbish at cooking for one :p also seems I have weird times for eating when there's no routine to my day - half ten and I'm just making dinner eek!

Meals I make always do at the very least a portion of dinner for me, 2 portions for OH and 2 lunches. So yeh 3 peppers, 3 onions, tin of chopped tomatoes, carton of passata and the usual herbs/garlic/chilli makes a LOT of sauce for one person! So sticking on almost a full bag of pasta and will just live off that this weekend I reckon ;-) very little cooking required on my already lazy weekend WOOP!

Watched supernatural most of the day :) love it! Not quite as good as being at festival seeing biffy and Metallica playing but hey at least I'm dry and clean. X

You can't help the finance situation so eat what you can and enjoy it,it's good to use up food aswell, nothing worse then something going off or out of date! Nah wasn't thinking ffs stick to the plan, at least you're not getting bored this way!
As to weight...it's good to be realistic as no pressure on yourself that way either!

I agree with Daisy - using stuff you already have is just good sense, whatever the condition of your finances. And I think you are managing to be really quite inventive with your meals, they usually sound really nice :)

I like having big pots of ready made food in the fridge. I usually make something like that at the weekend and use for work lunches. I should probably consider doing it this week even though I am on annual leave as I am bad at actually spending time making lunch even if I am at home all day.

Must look this Supernatural out. Sounds interesting. Think I am spending the next day and a half flopping at home so might catch up with some tv viewing.

Supernatural is awesome and the Winchester boys are VERY pretty to look at which adds to the enjoyment I believe.

Hot boys fighting demons in a cool car with a classic rock soundtrack - there's a lot to love right there.

Just having the ultimate lazy weekend it's rare I have the flat completely to myself so just being a slob while there's noone here to judge me :p though think I'll attempt an exercise DVD later as I would really like to be back at work in 4 weeks and so need to help myself. Weekend hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be was dreading being alone for 5 days after my breakdown at docs but coping ok :) x
