New to simply filling- any help appreciated

I have one - it's the same as plucking your eye brows, hurts to start but eventually the blood comes up and it's fine...

Time consuming but worth it x

Hi, I hope you don't mind me reading your diary. I just wanted to say that although it's true that there are many people who are living and dealing with worse situations than we can ever imagine you are still allowed to feel what you feel. You are entitled to feel sad and to cry sometimes if that's how you feel. Don't beat yourself up because there are others worse off than you, allow yourself to feel. I find it helps to write down what I'm feeling, writing it all down and then seeing it written on paper can be so theraputic. Once you've finished, you can rip that paper up or burn it or whatever you like and feel a little bit like you're taking control of your problems, not letting them control you. And then, like others ahve said, do something you really enjoy, have a bath or watch a movie or put a face mask on...not sure about the epilator..that sounds like torture to me :p

Yeh might try writing things down - hopefully get back to work soon 6 months off and having no money is just taking its toll on me. At least I am mostly in control of food now and getting past using it for comfort.

Tried the epilator it wasn't too bad feels really similar to a tattoo actually! Got patchy leg with a rash now though as didn't do it all. Might try the wipes later than are supposed to reduce the pain, definitely not brave enough to try anywhere other than legs yet. X

The rash normally goes for me by the next day..... yeah other bits aren't great. Armpits ok but do in a mirror or you get dizzy going cross eyed lol. Bikini line is all about pulling skin tight tight tight x

The though of it makes my eyes water!! Will be worth it if it keeps them hair free for a while and for first time I really was expecting much worse hopefully get easier with more use too. X

Definitely does - also when it grows back it's not as bad if that makes sense? softer, thinner, lighter x

Just out of interest is there much they can do for PCOS- not normally one to self diagnose and until ankle break pretty much avoided doctors unless dying- but my hairy beastness and crazy periods makes me think it's probable! X

It's not always a prob hun maybe run your worries past your gp see what they say x

It sounds like it might have been a good thing to let your guard down a little at your G.P appointment. There is only so long you can battle on, paint on your face and pretend everything is ok when that isn't how you are really feeling. And definitely don't beat yourself up along the lines of "other people cope with worse situations". Being injured and off work for 6 months is a HUGE thing to deal with in terms of changes in routine, self-image, self-confidence etc and that doesn't even touch on the financial aspect of it. Hopefully getting it off your chest should help but it is also worth thinking about the therpay options too.

Hope you get on better than me with the epilator - I ordered one from QVC a few months ago but sent it back for a refund in the end. It did hurt a fair bit but mainly I just didn't have the patience for it - it seemed to take forever.

I succumbed to the wholemeal bitesize pasta in Asda today. I wasn't going to but had stopped by to get cherry pepsi max and noticed that they had scooby doo shaped pasta reduced. The little bones are just SO cute, so thought I might as well get some of the others as well.

Wow scooby doo pasta that sounds awesome. The bitesize stuff is particularly good for macaroni cheese on sf since wholemeal macaroni is really awkward to get and at 20p it would be rude not to ;-)

Super rainy all day so stayed in jammies and had a mass Netflix watching session :-D also hearing that download festival is very muddy and wet makes me slightly less gutted about not being there - I prefer sunny festivals to muddy ones by far!!

Actually quite liking the epilator now had done my legs earlier but not really done knees or ankles as they hurt more but ended up putting headphones on and doing them as I think the noise makes the pain worse! Like how a scary movie is much scarier with the music!! X

Good luck for Wi!

Sorry you've been feeling low hun x It may prove to be therapeutic to have got upset at the doctor's, sometimes a good old upset can make you feel better. Hope so. Lucky escape re the festival by the sound of it, what the hell is wrong with this weather???!

Really pleased to report a STS - was definitely expecting a gain after my red velvet cake during the week and BBQ last weekend! I guess being on plan the rest of the time helped as really it was one meal, some drinks and one (albeit large) slice of cake!!

X
