New to simply filling- any help appreciated

It's good to hear from you and to hear that things have picked up for you :0) shame the ankle is still sore though! Am sure some ab work will be fine for you to do.A couple of meals out sounds ideal and I'm sure your friends and boyfriend will love the meals out.Thats good work is more spaced out now.Hope all goes ok when you weigh in :0)

9st worth of crisps sounds amazing!!!!! :p

I hope you really enjoy your days off. It's a pity your ankle is sore but I suppose it is to be expected. You sound like you are in the right frame of mind with your eating, what I mean is you are not unaware which is good. You should definitely weigh today just to have the record of it, well I would anyway.

Enjoy your day off :)

Well sneak peak weigh in at 9am today (proper weigh in should be 9am tomorrow) shows 9st 8lb a gain of 1.25lb WAY better than I was expecting. However I was expecting a loss last week but the scales needed a new battery, so maybe I did actually have a loss last week and that's why this weeks gain isn't so bad?

Think I will weigh in tomorrow as well since its weigh in day but since it will be before 6am my poor body may be a little confused!!

Ended up having a lazy day I'm still in pjs at 4pm lol! Might as well enjoy it while I can as I'm up to 25hours next week which is a pretty big jump and will likely be 5 days whereas this week was only working 3days.

While not really on track I havnt went too crazy past few days despite not counting which feels pretty good. Had things like Covent garden soup (parsnip, apple and elderflower very yummy!) and non wholemeal couscous and rice etc but it's still been pretty sensible options rather than going totally crazy (unlike the start of the week lol).

Will try and skim through diaries sometime soon got way too many threads to catch up on them all properly. X

Glad to have you back! And a day in your pjs sounds very well deserved, make sure you fully enjoy it.

Sounds like sensible choices are being made, even if not fully on plan. And as that is the long term aim anyway all really positive.

Hmm not sure what to put as my weigh in result. Yesterday at 9am (usual weigh in time but a day early) I was 9st 8lb. Same this morning at 5:45am (much earlier than 9am due to work) also had a peek when I got home from work at about 11 and it was 9st7lb had a coffee and ww bar by this point but had also been to toilet which I hadn't at earlier weigh in.

I guess it's only 1lb difference either way so not a big deal really - so either 0.25lb or 1.25lb gain. Thinking I must have had a loss last week when I couldn't weigh in as scales needed new battery as I defo deserve a bigger gain this week :-/ had I think 2 days on plan, a couple vaguely on plan and the rest crazy eating!! With no exercise either since I'm back on the strong painkillers for my ankle! Bizarre x

Maybe you could note it as a STS? Or a 1/2lb gain, somewhere in moddle? And work from that? Scales can be fickle creatures can't they?

Our bodies are funny things! Can gain with more exercise and lose with less! Either way you have done well this week! I hope you have a good weekend :0)

Know it's bad to weigh so much but thinking I might weigh tomorrow at regular time and see which of today's results looks most consistent and use that result!

Oh btw ladies we have a new recruit to simply filling and I told her to start a diary and meet us all since we get excited about newcomers to our little group so all pop by the simply filling diaries and welcome her :-D I know I personally rarely check that part I just read my subscribed threads so just a heads up that we have a new member to the gang! X

Hiya lol i thought i would seek out your diary :) that was not a bad gain considering all those crisps (drool... Its thai sensations or nandos crisps that are my downfall) think im doing the same as your lazy day, its my first week off i two years (?!!) so i am still in my pjs and thinking of watching a wee bit of studio ghibli, ponyo maybe? X

If he's that much of an arse then don't bother telling him until much closer to the time you are leaving. I know what you mean I hate my job but there's just so little out there just now and sadly bills don't pay themselves :-( x

Yeah at keast wheni get to uni i get a nhs bursery which is pretty good, and although my boss is an arse, for the past few months (since i knew i was in uni, not that he knows its the reason) ive been less worried about what he thinks... And he seems to have taken a shine to me so im going to try to tell him in such a way that i can keep my saturday shift and i wont need to work nights, thing is i cant imagine him firing me outright cos its a small company so the current staff couldnt cover and he would need to cover 6days but hes been known to just be horrible to people till they leave for less than this, so im telling him when the weans get exam results and say ive just found out... Im sure i can last a month with hom moaning!

That's fan you get the nhs bursary as that really helps out. If you have a contract anywhere (doubt it since it would have to give you holidays and your other rights!!) check what notice you need to give to leave and just go with the minimum. They re denying you your employment rights so I wouldn't worry about leaving them up **** creek having to find a replacement lol!

Also not sure if it's changed / depends on what you specialise in but I know when some friends did nursing they couldnt have a job as well as you need to do loads of placements and might need to work weekends etc so it makes holding down a regular job pretty impossible and that's why they help out with extra grants and funding etc. like I say might have changed but worth looking into as you might get to escape the place for good ;-) x

Yeah having a job is hard with the placements, but my saturday shift is 8.30-3pm and i was told in my interview that placement would take weekend jobs into consideration and not make you work them, on a saturday its just me and the woman i like the best (shes the manager and knows im going to uni) so its an easy wee shift and would take my earnings from just covering bills etc to having a few nights out lol x

Looks like things are back on track. Well done. Frustrating about the confusion with which weigh in to believe. I would be tempted to take the lower one...
