New to simply filling- any help appreciated

Will definitely look into those sweets, that's rather alot for the pointage.

And poached egg and cheese bagel sounds DIVINE. I am salivating at the thought. Mmmmmm.

Mystery tour sounds really good!

So your ankle....is it a pain in the whole ankle (like an ache?) or is it a pain in a specific area?

When I broke my foot I struggled for months afterwards, and even now I have to wear supportive insoles on! It was like not walking for 8weeks in cast and 4 weeks after, like my feet forgot how! Then when I started walking again I did so incorrectly and put pressure on my knees!
Even now when it's cold I get a pain in the bone (5th metatarsal)

Anyway.....I think you should treat any pains by seing your GP not by painkillers! He/she may be able to help or give advice. Or refer you to physio!

Yeh it sort of starts off at particular bit of ankle but spreads to be a general pain in that area. Had this before when healing but it's been pretty pain free for weeks until I started work again. Walking doesn't seem to be so bad it's the standing a lot of time in one spot at work that makes it really sore.

Have got docs appointment for next Friday as that's the soonest I could get - was meant to go back to let them know how I was getting on going back to work but havnt been able to get an appointment that works round my shifts. To be honest the doctors have been pretty useless had one nice woman and one nice man and the others have all been really unhelpful. Physio wwasnt great either just got a sheet of exercises the first time then each appointment after that the only advice was to keep trying walking and the exercises! Not had much luck with that health centre lol. Its massive but has huge volumes of patients so getting an appointment takes ages and you just have to take whatever doctor you can get or it's more like a months wait :-/

Recovery has been a slow process so wasnt expecting it to be miraculously ok when I went back to work but being in pain (albeit not severe) most of the time really isn't ideal either. Most of the time it's just uncomfortable rather than unbearably sore but I do really need to get it sorted ASAP. Generally feeling better mentally but it's exhausting been having mega sleeping sessions too. Trying to rest it on my days off but doesn't seem to be helping much whereas before that would stop any pain.

Anyway long sleepy moan :p night night all hopefully get ankle sorted out soon. Ugh got at least 5 days in a row of work now maybe more depending on next weeks shifts! Might not be online too much but will try! X

First of all I am really sorry your ankle is in pain, that is not a good thing. Have you seen your dr or would they tell you to get back off work again?

Secondly your ASDA sounds amazing! You get loads of stuff we don't have in ours (like vice versas) I see stuff you get and them go looking and can never find it! Perhaps you get them all first in Glasgow and eventually it moves down south- hope so!

Hope work goes ok and good idea getting lots of rest in between.

Ergh bout the shifts, you wil be missed! Hopefully you will get some help about your ankle when you go to the doctors! It sounds like my old doctors, where I live now the doctors are much better thankfully(not that I've been yet, more for the OH)Anyhow those sweets look delish and a great amount for the pp! You are so good at finding bargains :0)

Bit of a long moan last night sorry! Just frustrated at being in pain again I guess.

Ugh just got rid of a migraine. Damn you totm f your evil headaches *shaky fist*

Day started off well early finish from work so went to see the Lorax at the cinema and loved it! :-D spot of wandering around the shops, the sun was out and met my mate for a quick chat on her lunch break.

Went to post office depot to pick up parcels including these beauties -

They were my back to work first payday treat to myself! Actually a bargain too they were down from £100 to £24! They have little skulls on the straps and zips and other cute details :)

Then ended up lying in the dark for couple hours with stupid migraine. It's mostly passed now thankfully!

Havnt had much of an appetite due to funny times at work so it will be a propoints day and mostly snacks rather than real meals! Not ideal but just ate what I can.

I will check out the calories on the sweets for you cake so you can work out syns roughly. I'm not sure if the fact they have zero fat in them helps make them such low points on ww? X

Am glad the migraine has gone, that's great news :0) I LOVE your new boots! What a great bargain! You are the bargain queen!Apart from the migraine it sounds like you had a good day :0)

Thanks guys I love them! Bit stupid buying them as my ankle can't wear heels yet but I loved them so much and find it hard to pass up a bargain.

Did plan on spending my entire first wage treating myself after having no money for so long but have ended up being horribly sensible with it. Got 2 pairs of shoes, some mega reduced roxy stuff from Argos (flip flops, bag and hat came to grand total of under £13 yay), a necklace from eBay, a real pair of sunglasses from ebay (i only own lots of primark sunglasses and couple pairs of fake ay bans up until now so treated myself to some oakleys that were in deal of the week for £24.99 on ebay!) and started buying in some bits and pieces for Christmas presents!!

Thanks it was a really nice day up to he headache. The Lorax gets 2 massive thumbs up but I do love dr seuss :-D x

Ooooo good shoes!!! Was going to take my kids to see the lorax next week, do you think it'd be good for them? Xx

Hopefully they will enjoy it - has quite mixed reviews most of the negative ones moaning about the environmental message at the root of the story but I didn't find it overbearing at all. It was a really fun film - so colourful, some funny gags and musical numbers too! Maybe you'll enjoy it more than they will Charl ;-) x

Ha!! I love the films I take them to see! There's loads coming up, obviously clever film companies cashing in on summer holidays and parents struggling for things to do! The oz looks awesome too, have you watched the trailer? X

Wow to the boot bargain! They're pretty special! Glad you ended up having a nice day and really think you did right thing treating yourself after watching the pennies for so long! Yeay!

Ooh yeh Oz looks amazing Charl sadly it's not out for ages yet :-( fancy iceage4 as well, iceage2 is on e4 just now I have it on in the background :)

I do feel like I've got the need to treaty self out of my system now despite not going too crazy with it - didn't really get anything big just some bits and bobs. Still to take the OH for a meal out hopefully do that this weekend if we get the time damn working weekends! Being a bit of a saddo and planned out what sofa, bed, chandelier etc I want for when I eventually get a house. Hopefully be able to get the ball rolling with that fairly soon eek!! Need to get settled in at work then make an appointment to go speak about mortgages eek grown up stuff I know nothing about!!! X

Ah I thought it was out next month for some reason! Gutted! Going to see batman on Saturday I'm so excited! I'm such a movie geek now!

Aaaahhh buying your first house is mega exciting, I've recently taken to looking into wedding venues in Italy despite not even being engaged! Bf asked my ringsize like 3 times over a few months and I kept forgetting about it then we've been talking about what kind of wedding we'd have and I've gone all off on one and starting looking at stuff. I never even thought i was a marriage type person. Shocker!!

I bet your well excited though, do you have a good deposit saved? It's so hard at first but so lush when you can start looking. :) x

I think it's next spring before Oz is out :-(

Haha don't worry I have been vaguely planning wedding too despite not being engaged :p not so much planning just had lots of spare time so had been looking into dresses, how to make cheap decorations and favours etc! I love rock&roll bride and offbeat bride check them out ;-) there's so much stuff out there so nothing wrong with getting some ideas hehe. Saw some amazing alice in wonderland themes and have looked at a load of cakes too haha.

Been lucky I've got inheritance money and my dads going to help me out too for a deposit so that's covered just need to get it all sorted. Between ikea and Argos I've pretty much got most of the furniture planned out for really cheap :p just starting with basic cheap stuff and can always upgrade when get more money if need be. My love for bargains has now extended to home stuff - have found a sofa I want for £200 and a dining table with chairs for £75 :) x

Yup you are the bargain queen for sure! Love it ;0) and exciting times indeed with buying your first home! We plan a little spend up when we get our money but I've said we need to be sensible as well,a little treat now and then does no harm!
