New year, new Jane!

Thanks EmmyLou and Val. xx I am expecting a big gain tomorrow as I have been ramming chocolate into my mouth whenever I could. I have been completely out of control. I feel very stressed at the moment about everything and have eaten everything that is bad for me so I will inevitably see it on the scales tomorrow.
 
Well done Val and thanks EmmyLou. xx. I put on 4lbs so the sticker has well and truly gone. I can't seem to control myself and if I have a good day I count it as a bonus!
 
I have got a long weekend so won't have access to the internet until Tuesday as we will be at mums. I am out for our works meal tonight. I am a little more in control than I was, partly because we had some news that has taken a bit of pressure off us.:)
Anyway I hope that everyone has a good weekend. x

Thank you Louise and Val.XX I managed to maitain this week, though I don't know how!!
Mum is a bit better than she was but she is still very frail and unable to stay up for longer than a few hours.
My SW hat has slipped unfortunatly but I fully intend to get back on track in the new year. I am saving the new SW magazine to give me inspiration.

Well done on the STS, at this time of year that's a real achievement let alone with trying to juggle SW and visits to your Mum. Have a great Christmas. x

I do not intend to officialy WI until 4th January as there doesn't seem much point in me doing otherwise. I am trying to make better food choices today and its definitly easier being back at work. I am off after tomorrow until Tuesday and then hope to get back on plan.

hi jane i hope you enjoyed christmas xx i gained 4.5 lbs every ounce deserved ;) but back on track today, we were given new updated books at class last night but i refused to have my gain put in it so not using it till next week when i will hopefully have a loss :rolleyes: happy new year to you and ur family xxx

I am thinking of using some of my Christmas money to re-join a SW class for a short while. The only thing that puts me off is that I feel embarrassed about my small losses but I feel like I need an extra push. Anyway if I join it will be next Tuesday.

hiya hun, get your bum to class, don't worry about how much you lose, as long as you're losing who cares how fast it is, I've had the slowest losses ever (3 stone in 9 months followed by 2 stone in 12 months) but I keep plodding on, every 1/2lb is 1/2lb less. You can do it hun xx

Thanks EmmyLou. x I felt very nervous going back to class last night but the deed is done. I put on 2lbs over the Christmas period. I am quite happy with that considering what I ate, though I am 13.5 lbs heavier than my lowest weight since starting SW so I need to get myself into gear. I am not sure why SW seem to be pushing the 'extra easy' option. The consultant told all newcomers that they should take that option unless they were vegetarian. I think that I will probably carry on with red and green days with the odd extra easy day thrown in.
 
Yes they don't seem to mention the 'old' red and green days anymore. I just do green as I'm a veggie but I can see how meat eaters would find EE a lot easier to do. When I went back to class those who stuck very rigidly to the third of a plate superfree rule seemed to do ok as that must drastically reduce your intake of carbs and meat....those that didn't want to keep measuring the veg and forcing it down did better on reds and greens.

I know personally there's no way I'd manage to do the third of a plate superfree so stick to what you know I say!

We're about the same, I'm 14lb heavier than my lightest weight last year since I started this diet. You did a lot better over xmas than me though ;-)
 
hi jane well done going back to class hopefully it will give you a bit of extra encouragement (mind u i go every week and still come unstuck lol) you done well to only put on 2lb over the holiday period. it's funny how they go on about ee and red and green don't get a mention now i do think ee is a good plan if it's stuck to properly but i know if i've not had the veg i should i don't have very good loses, good luck jane x hope ur day is going ok love val xx
 
Thanks EmmyLou and Valxx I am on my 3rd day on plan. Certainly need to stick to it as my work trousers are tight! I feel very blobby at the moment. Hopefully there will be less of me next week.
