New year, same me; just less wobbly + Project 52!

Jezzzzzz!!!!!! Welcome back lovely! A week long hen?! My kind of girl!! We've missed you! X

I suggested it to h2b as a JOKE and he agreed! So I took the opportunity before he changed his mind

Ahhh, how are you finding it?? Thought about doing that myself, seem a bit fed up with SW at the moment. Up until the hen, there hadn't been a single week when I had gained but I just seemed to be losing 1/2 at a time- bloody infuriating. Ended up with my books all over the floor, found a few new recipes to try out so I'm feeling a bit more enthusiastic now.

Day 1 hasn't gone too well though- ended up doing a longer than expected shift in work (the perils of working alone :() so although I'd started out well prepared (Minestrone soup, bananas, apples, strawberry's, mullerlight) I ended up gorging myself on 2 packets of crisps and a Time Out at the end of the day. Really disappointed with myself. So, Day 1 will officially start tomorrow, hahaha!

It's pretty good I mostly tried simply filling days which is similar to sw - there's a list of free foods then you get 49 weekly points for anything else.

Free foods are quite similar to sw - lean meat, veg, fruit, wholemeal pasta/rice etc but the best part is loads of ww bread products are on the list too so loaves, pittas, wraps, bagels. Also you can have smoothies and tinned fruit and crumpets for free too which sad but true really excited me ;-)

I just got in a bit of a rut with sw and just fancied trying something different. You can also do propoints counting days whenever you fancy if you want which is handy days you are eating out or want a ww ready meal. I just don't fancy doing them all the time as all the weighing seems a pain in the bum though loads of people love it.

As you say new recipes and going back to basics always helps. I am currently having an American sweets binge and starting afresh on Friday lol so certainly won't judge you for writing off today and starting tomorrow ;-) x

Hi there! I was thinking /talking about you whilst on holiday last week, we went past a shop in Tenby with knots in the window!!! Xxxxxr

MAM! I've missed you! Speaking of knots, managed to find a florist who is making me a floral bouquet but used to be in the sea cadets so is tying nautical knots into it AND adding shells that my hens farmed from a beach in Majorca on my hen do :) So I'm very excited about that!

That sounds amazing!

Urgh....I've JUST had an email to say the online store that makes my bridesmaids dresses won't have them in stock again until after the wedding. I've already bought one, too late to return it, so that money is a write-off. Will have to source 5 new dresses :(

I would insist on a refund on the dress, they broke the contract, you bought the dress on the understanding that they would supply the other four, they reneged on this therefore should refund you !!!!

i agree they should deffo refund you id demand it! x

Urgh, I don't know where I stand legally because the dress shop is in Florida...

I've actually paid for 8 dresses upfront- 2 sizes for each girl because they were all losing weight etc etc. The one I bought is for the bm who has been a steady size 12 for years so we used her to check the quality and made sure it suited them all iykwim. The plan was that i'd email the correct sizes in june and they'd refund me for what I don't need.

So, they've had over 600 dollars from me since february, just sat in their bank account. They have refunded quickly enough, but I only have 1 bm dress!!

Ok sneaky idea coming up.... Could you ask a dressmaker to copy the dress you have???

Well that might have to be the plan Shirleen. If we can match the fabric, i'm sure someone could knock them up quite easily. Very naughty though! X

good luck matching the fabric! I'm sure someone in liverpool could do it the amount of dressmakers! haha xx

Still no progress on the dress.....i've got a few appointments next week with dressmakers so i'll let you all know how it goes.

I'm having a laast hurrah before the diet is properly back on track tomorrow. Really looking forward to this lamb! Will be having lots of veg with it.....don't shout at me too much :(

OH! and, got a very exciting parcel in the post yesterday. A parcel that actually made me squee.

I received a full size Divaderme Fibre Lash! I don't know if you lot have seen these but they are the most amazing thing ever. It's basically a bottle full of lash fibres, after applying your mascara, you roll these over when the mascara is still wet, build them up with as many coats as you like then set with a final coating of mascara. I haven't tried them properly yet, I messed about a little when I got them, but I'm going to spend tonight practicing technique and making myself look like Rue Paul. I. Can't. Wait.

I also got a free teeth whitening kit...I've never tried one of these before and if I'm honest I'm a bit scared by it!! I had them whitened professionally once and it all seemed very complicated, not sure I trust myself to do it!!

Hope you get the dresses sorted what a nightmare and ooh your postman is nice I love when mine brings me presents ;-) x
