Hmph. Awful night with millie. She slept from 6pm until 8.30pm and then was crying all night..... ended up putting her in bed with us at 4.30am because i was that tired and surprise surprise fast asleep until OH's alarm went off at 7am.

I just dontknow what to do :-( she is wide awake and every time i put her down she cries. Im exhausted xxx

Just know that she will eventually go to sleep.... I remember a day like this, and I ended up taking babyB for a walk, he dropped off as soon as I left the house..... HOWEVER, I got into a cycle of walking him to sleep all the time which I had to break, and you don't actually get any rest as your walking!!! Don't get into that as a sleep association for Millie, but sometimes fresh air helps. However, Is she asleep in your arms?

Sounds awful but have you tried putting her down and leaving her to cry for a little... I know its hard but if she's crying when she doesn't actually need something she might stop if she realises your not going to give in. I know that's easier said then done as obviously its awful when they cry especially at such a young age.

Good luck Nikki and make sure as soon as she does sleep you get your head down as well

Yep fast off in my arms and i know for a fact that she would sleep if i took her out in her buggy. I maaged to put her down but she woke after 15mins. She is drinking loads too and will always take a bottle no matter what xx

Silly question but how will i know if she is constipated?? Yesterday she was doing just tiny poops and then today at 12pm she did a massive one and has settled down! We have been for a walk and she is sleeping in the pushchair at the moment.

So ive signed up to slimming world online and today is day 1....even though WI day is saturday.

Were they runny or hard and dry?? Sorry, tmi, but if its hard and dry then she probably was/is constipated. Good that she's been today though, I hope she slept well in her pushchair after your walk. If she does seem constipated you can try giving her a little bit of cooled boiled water.

They were runny like usually. She just seems to strain so hard and goes so red faced then gets frustrated. Really want a good nights sleep tonight! Xx

She is having 4oz at each feed which i think is a lot for such a little thing. She always finishes 4oz aswell so i dont know whether to try hungry baby milk? Or a different brand to aptamil? X

Well done Millie!! Are you feeling better today?

Maybe give her 5oz and see how she does. I'm not sure she'll need hungry baby at this point. If she's happy with aptamil I wouldn't change formula, especially as you were worried about constipation. They are mostly the same but a slight difference may upset her tummy. She may just be a hungry girl. How much is she weighing now? X
