Maybe give her 5oz and see how she does. I'm not sure she'll need hungry baby at this point. If she's happy with aptamil I wouldn't change formula, especially as you were worried about constipation. They are mostly the same but a slight difference may upset her tummy. She may just be a hungry girl. How much is she weighing now? X

My hv was against hungry baby (we used cow and gate) said something about the make up is harder for them to digest? Imogen was 4 months at this point though. X

BabyB has been on hungry baby since 4 months, against the wishes of the HV, but she told me not to start solids, or give him any more formula.... He was on 9oz bottles, and still hungry, I didn't want to start solids that early so I tried hungry baby. It worked, but I couldn't add anymore formula to his bottles, they were full!!!! X

We weaned Imogen at 4 months old :) she was starving poor little mite x

At last weigh in which was last monday she was 8lb so im guessing she is around 8lb 8oz now maybe even 9lb because she was gaining anything between 1-2oz a day.

She gets all upset if she has powdered formula too so we have had to use the premade stuff (i blame hospital because thats whay they fed her!)

Today she has been draining 4oz and waking 2 hours later for more. Maybe ill give her 5oz and see if she sleeps longer. Xx
 
Had an impromtu breakfast out this.....

Went to spoons and had a breakfast.

I was goos though..... i left the hash browns, sausage and only had the runnt yolk so no white.

Brunch - 1 slice of toast (hexb - tweak as it was white!) 2 bacon all fat removed, beans, tomato. Bacon was cooked in oil i assume so ill say (3 syns)

Snack - chocolate coins (3 syns)

Dinner - pasta, mushrooms, chicken, philli stir in (5 syns) Slither pizza (3 syns) cheese (hexa)

nikki my boy got aptamil and whenever we used pre made he became constipated. i stopped using it as its stronger plus very expensive to maintain x

Ive got a couple of the powder tubs but she seems to get upset when she has it so i might start introducing it and hope she is ok x
 
Feeling really sleepy. I managed about 6.5 hours sleep throughout the night and Millie is snoozing again now but i cant nod back off.
 
Todays plan.... day 3 on plan!!

B - 2 biscuits and a cuppa (3 syns)

L - wholemeal roll (hexb) 30g cheese (hexa) tuna, extra light mayo (0.5 syns)

D- rice fusions (1.5 syns) chicken in a bag (1.5 Syns) mushrooms, roast veg (2 syns)

Syns - 8.5
 
Blimey, you must be spending a fortune on ready made formula!!! Keep trying the powder. Glad you got 6.5 hours last night!!

Food looks good, well done on day 3 on plan!! I'm on day 2....!!! X
 
Yesterday didnt quite stick to plan.... not too bad and the scales are the same as yesterday pheww.
 
At WI on saturday i had lost 1.25lb. Ive had a real blow out since then though. Darent look at the scales!!

I know i look really out of shape and my OH is being so supportive about my weight loss and is also encouraging me to go back to the gym!

Tomorrow is pay day and so im going to go and set out my plan of action. I think im going to have a real weight loss boosting month. I have a party to go to on 13th July and i WILL fit into one of my party dresses. There is a particular one id like to wear but i think id need to lose 2st for it to fit so thats more my aim for the end of august. However, i have hundreds of dresses whoch dont fit at the mo so will be aiming for one of those! Will be back tomorrow to tell you my plan!

Hiya hun :)

Millie had 2 really bad nighta fri/sat she had wind and nothing was bringing it up, poor mite. Last night however was amazing!! After her night time feed and moving her moses basket upstairs she slept from 12 - 4 and then 4.15- 8 so had a really good night sleep!

You're bound to look a little out of shape as Millie is still very young, just get back to it when you can. If you can't get back to the gym straight away try doing little bits at home while Millie is either sleeping (if your not needing sleep yourself as sleep is the most important thing) or while she's happily playing with something. Just things like running up and down the stairs or using the bottom step to do some step ups, crunches are brilliant... I actually love them. Or as daft as this sounds, I lost some weight after having little one by literally running backwards and forward while watching the TV (it started as I'd use my stepper while watching house, but my stepper broke and when I looked at new ones some of the reviews said they spilled an oily substance on the floor... I didn't want to risk that so I still did it while watching house but ran forwards then backwards)


I'm sure you'll be in those dresses in no time, especially now you have something to aim for as well :)

She falls to sleep so easy in the night. Usually she will only manage 1-2oz and be zonked so i put her back down. She makes up for it with 5-6oz first thing. She is getting so heavy it practically breaks my back carrying her.... i must be very weak! Xx

I thought about getting a stepper or getting my wii fit out each morning. It is very harf to get motivated first thing though. Good idea about the bottom step, our stairs are right next to the living room door so that would work well if millie was in the her rocker! X
