Week 2 day 10!
I'm into double figures 100% TS and very proud of myself although I haven't found it hard as it's now a way of life and I actually find it easier mentally to know that I can pick three packs and that's it. I'm constantly swapping to try new things so it keeps it exciting too. I used to spend so much time thinking about food, whether I was on a diet or not - what can I eat for lunch, do I have the right food in (if not ultimately I would buy crap like choc bar or eat quick and crap like toast) what shall I make for tea etc.
Because exante meals are in the house and very quick to make I don't fall into the trap of being starving and having a snack while I'm cooking dinner. Plus I'm not generally hungry either on this (although I was last night at bedtime so I just drank water). I feel like this is the easy bit, when I introduce normal food again it will be hard but I will probably use packs as part of my maintenance too as I enjoy them, they are nutritious and easy to make. Thinking normal breakie, pack for lunch and then healthy dinner eventually (or vice versa if I am out for lunch). I've also shown myself that I don't need snacks or dessert. I eat one thing three times a day or sometimes split packs and have 5 smaller meals so I'm going to carry on with that too.
Only problem is the packs contain something which suppresses your appetite so when I'm maintaining will I be hungrier? Hope not if my belly has shrunk.
Anyway, I'm thinking aloud and didn't plan to post all that much!
Had a meeting first thing and now I'm having 3/4 vanilla shake with coffee (to make an iced latte) and 1/4 toffee bar. Will try pasta ham and mushroom soup for dinner (my swaps arrived in the post and I accidentally cut that pack when opening so that's today's dinner pack sorted!) then either a shake or a bar later on this evening depending how I feel.
Hope everyone is having a good day! It's bank holiday!! Woo hoo!!
