Total Solution No more yo yo-ing!

I think you can buy made up exante shakes, Not sure what they taste like but worth having a look on their site x

Thanks Susie - I've seen the shake and go but read on forums that they're not great.

My hubby is eating lovely crispy skin chicken and spicy rice and I'm pretty hungry after all that cycling. That's going on my list!

I'm on here to distract myself! Had half a veg soup just now and enjoyed that - not tried veg before, just tomato and basil left to try but I've not heard great things about that one.

Got a bit of vanilla shake left to have with a coffee later but want to wait as late as possible.

I'll have a look on the site now for ready to drink ones Susie!

Can only see those shake and go ones and apparently they go lumpy :(

No point getting any if the reviews are poor. I have occasionally made shakes at work with a mini whisk but still have a few lumps in them x

I've found a solution! Just bought a promixx vortex battery powered blender! It's like a shake cup with a blender in it and you can use hot liquids in it too! Hoping it works - it has some good reviews!

OOh good, I'll look it up cos I'm nosey like that ha xx

Looks good, hopefully will do the trick. x

Fingers crossed! Hope it gets here on time - didn't want to pay £9 extra for next working day delivery!

Well done on the bike ride, that's a great achievement, bet you feel great :) x

Hello! Week 2 Day 12 Had a great day today :) we went on a 20 mile bike ride and I feel very tired and achy but I feel great! You know that lovely feeling when you can feel it in every muscle? You know you've worked hard :) Hope everyone else has had a good day? Food wise I had a coffee with some vanilla shake in it and then a tesco ultra slim shake for lunch before the ride, a bar while riding and afterwards with a black coffee (half and half). I'm going to have half a soup soon and then I have some of my half a vanilla shake left to have in another coffee later. Really fancy a curry now though - that's going on the list :) Just a point re. Tesco ready to drink ultra slims - there's a ton of carbs in them! 27grams! I didn't realise! So I'm going to have to find an alternative or a way to mix my exante shakes when I'm away - anyone have any tips?

Do you not have one of the shakers? I think they are really good they blend them perfectly

I have a celebrity slim one but I haven't tried it lol! I read so many bad reviews about lumpy shakes I haven't dared!

I find the shakers are OK for the shakes but you can't put hot liquids in them. I might try one of those blenders for the soups at work. I've seen them at 18.99 with fee postage. Is that what you paid?

I think the exante one is really good I've seen the same style before with the ball whisk inside it and I find it works well

Hi Lynne - yes that's the one :)

Hope you've had a good day Yoyo x

Hello! Well it's day 13 100%TS - unlucky for some but not for me - I was 13 on Friday 13th lol!

Just tried a shepherds pie for the first time and it was yummy! Looks pretty gross like brown sludge but it was tasty. I added salt pepper a tiny bit of cayenne some fresh garlic and chives. I added too much salt though so I know for next time.

The great thing is I still have a pack left to have so I'm going to have a bar later with a coffee :)

I had a Thai chicken soup for lunch and lots of water during the day. Had a cup of tea with skimmed milk this afternoon at the in laws because of two reasons - 1. I didn't want her to ask questions coz I always have tea, and 2. I really fancied a cup! I don't like it black and I don't think my 'coffee whitener' (i.e vanilla shake mix) would work in tea!

We woke up early this morning and spent the morning at the allotment - we were filmed for a promotional video for the garden share scheme that we are part of that allowed us to have our plot for our allotment. Basically they pair up people with land who don't have either the time or inclination to grow veg on it, with people like us looking for an allotment. It's a great scheme but not many people know about it. Some local college kids approached the scheme and offered to film a video for them. It was a fun morning though I was a bit nervous.

When we finished we had a coffee (mine was black) and then hubby and I went back to the allotment to tie up our beans and peas and do a bit of weeding.

Then I had a snooze when we got back home before we went to the in laws house.

Just taken Barney for a walk although I was so hungry! I was glad of the shepherds pie I can tell you :)

I'm really excited about weigh in on weds morning - no idea how much I will have lost in my second week - hoping it's more than 3lbs.

One more day of this week to go! :)

Glad you've had a lovely day. I like the sound of that scheme, win win situation, from experience of hubby trying to get one I know how difficult it can be trying to get an allotment. We were lucky as my Church gave a plot of land that had never been used before and that the farmer next door had been looking after over to become allotments a couple of years ago so hubby got one from new.
