Total Solution No more yo yo-ing!

Another day another dollar.. Or pound lost hopefully!

Weigh in on weds - not got high hopes although I would like to have lost 2lb which will take my weight loss to a stone in 3 weeks.

Feeling much better today - had a small bowl of muesli with milk, some pear and a black coffee for breakfast then I'm going to make an exante shake in a bit and stick to exante for the rest of the day. Got a 'do' this evening - no food thank god but I reckon there will be booze so I might allow myself a last glass of vino tonight before we go home tomorrow morning and I'm back to 100%.

I forgot to mention. We were offered a glass of fizz with breakfast yesterday morning and I said no! First time ever! It's my absolute fav. *Proud*

Anyway, we've just been out for a run, last one of week 2 couch to 5k although I didn't set my interval timer correctly so we ended up running for longer intervals! Doh!

Just hoping my fitness improves for the 10k at the end of August, but by then I'll be maintaining and eating normal food again so hopefully that will help.

Doing a bit of work in our hotel room then off to explore Richmond for a bit.

Enjoy your days ladies! X

I don't think you're giving yourself enough credit at all. You were almost telling yourself off for the food thoughts and the eating late- which ok I totally understand make you feel out of the zone - but you made good choices overall and this is a great week to demonstrate that you can live up to your name on here and make moderate choices when you come to add food and maintain. Compare to what I did - one day off and I had the most extreme week of bingeing that I can recall. And I'm fatter and feel awful. I'm not trying to feel sorry for myself at all but I know I never praise myself enough when I've done well and I recognised that in your posts too as I've been catching up. I'm really impressed with you and honestly that time off VLCD is harder than a week on it in many ways. Well done you!! Xx

Thanks Lara- you're right :) I should be proud I've been fairly sensible :) xx

Sat in a beautiful cafe in the sunshine. Decided to give tonight's networking do a miss and give ourselves a break for once :) the joys of running your own business :)

I had an Atkins bar and a decaf coffee with a bit of milk and hubby is having a pulled pork burrito.

But, we have decided to go to one of our favourite restaurants tonight to round off our mini holiday - dishoom in london :)

Now we're enjoying a lovely walk along the river and through Richmond park - saw a great light jacket / blouse in a vintage clothes shop that I wanted to buy as a treat for losing weight but the shop was closed so I'll give them a call tomorrow and see if they can post it.

Here is my view right now, and its lovely and sunny

Love Richmond Park. Driving through it was part of my journey to work for many years. Used to hate it in the winter when the park closed early with the dark nights and you had to use the roads. The journey home took so much longer.

Enjoy your evening, am glad the weather has been good to you xx

Hope the evening is going well Yoyo. x

So in the end we couldn't be bothered going into london so we had dinner at Jamie's Italian instead. We shared a meat platter which was charcuterie, salad and a tiny bit of cheese and no bread and I had a trout with salad for main so fairly healthy low carb choices. I had an aperol spritz with dinner and just drinking a glass of Rioja in our room. Last bit of alcohol I'll be having for a while, back on TS tomorrow.

Early start (6ish) to head back up north, then I'm at school in the afternoon.

Night all xx

Bleurgh it's way too early..

Week 3 day 21

100% TS from now on

We have started our journey back up north after a fabulous long weekend. Found out we won a new piece of business yesterday too!

Hope everyone has a great day xx

It's lovely isn't it Cate :) xx

Good day today, I've stuck to TS virtually (bar a wee splash of milk in a cup of tea)..

Got home at 12ish then headed straight for school, I work with two little boys and a girl aged 9/10 with their reading, and I had my assessment today (someone from the charity I volunteer with observed me). Thing is I was expecting her on Thursday! Probably best as I didn't have time to get nervous, I had already started my first session.

Got a great review though which is a relief.

Then we picked up our beloved Barney - I've really missed him this weekend. He's currently lying on the sofa on his back with his head in my lap, making it rather awkward to hold my iPad and type this!

So, food today:

10am- 1/4 vanilla shake in black coffee and an Atkins bar (150cal so like 3/4 exante bar I reckon)
3pm - choc orange bar
5pm - tea with milk
7.30pm - 1/2 veg soup pack made into crisps

So I'm chugging through my two litres of water and still have half a pack to go - might try a new flavour shake like White choc and raspberry, choc cherry or choc mint - anyone know which is nicer?

Had half a white choc raspberry in the end. Quite nice actually :)

Weigh in tomorrow! I have the familiar excited / nervous feeling. No idea how this weekends food will have affected my loss, though hubby reckons I look slimmer. Fingers crossed! X

Good luck for tomorrow Yoyo x
