That could well be down to totm, go for a good loss next week xx

And the copious amount of food I've been eating! Lol

Good day today. First aid training again, which we all passed so I'm now qualified in level 2 paediatric first aid.

Food wise I had granola blueberries and milk for breakfast, sandwiches and a choc flapjack for lunch at the training and a banana before my run and a bar after on my way to forest school with the brownies. We had a lovely evening learning how to make a fire and roasting marshmallows :)

Just home now and thinking I might have some humous and carrot sticks but I might not. Haven't had this empty feeling in a while, I quite like it :)

Going to try not to eat the children's food tomorrow unless I really need to :) or maybe just not the lunch as I normally get sent on my lunch shortly after!

Enjoyed my run this evening, although I used the peak flow monitor and my levels were pretty much the same so maybe I don't have asthma. I'm feeling wheezy and coughing though so I wonder what it is.

Hope everyone else has had a good day?

Just analysed the pattern... Wheezing during exercise. I ran to GPs then they did peak flow which was about 250-300. After inhaler and rest, it increased to about 4-450.

I have the brown (steroid) inhaler too but I only use that in winter if it's particularly damp or if I have a chesty cough. Using the salbutamol inhaler 4 times daily is pretty ineffective during those times. Hardly use brown steroid one.

Only started in 2011 ish.

They tried to diagnose me with asthma in 1993 as I was wheezing but it turns out I had TB upon further investigations!

I have been running half marathons/marathons and triathlons since 2004 but never had problem until 2011. Hope u get sorted :) x

I have the same Yoyo & the puffers keep it well under control. 2 puffs before any exercise does wonders x

Lol you don't need to eat the little ones food - come on missy lets get you to 10-7, then you'll only have to lose one pound to be under ten and a half! Think how fab that will feel xx

Thanks TH - at it's highest my peak flow is 370 I think. Going down to 320 sometimes but that's not a big enough drop for asthma I don't think? Although even at my highest it's still lower than it should be for someone my age and height.

Lol! Ok honey I'll try my best :)

Good day today at work - really enjoyed it again.

Food wise.. Mmm.. Not great, not awful..

Had granola blueberries and milk for breakfast and a bar for lunch. Then a tiny portion of the kids food this afternoon (pasta salad and choc cake) as I was hungry and needed the energy to make it through.

We went on a bike ride this evening and had dinner at the pub. I had steak and salad but it came with chips...

Where I went wrong:

2 Oreo cookies in the staff room at lunch
A white magnum after work as I was going straight out to see my young leaders from brownies arrive at their prom, and I was really hungry and it was hot so fancied an ice cream.. Shouldn't have had that
A Bellini at the prom while we were waiting for the girls to arrive
A glass of Pinot Grigio
Chips with my dinner

So I know where I made the wrong choices - I just hope it doesn't hamper my weight too much..

Tomorrow is another day :)

So let me tell you about the prom! I never had a prom when I was at school and oh my goodness! There were people arriving in flash cars like Porsches and Bentleys and rolls Royce's. There were stretch limos and horses and camper vans and motorbikes. Then.. Someone arrived in a helicopter!! I'm not kidding!! I couldn't believe it.

Well I really enjoyed work again today - wish I could do it full time :)

Food:

Granola and strawberry and milk
Stir fry veg and rice and half piece of sponge cake (with woddlers)
Exante bar and packet of salt and vinegar crisps that were in the staff room - Grrrr
Some caramel choc buttons that our manager bought for our room - kept grabbing a couple..
Ratatouille with potato and cheese at mum and dads followed by a slice of home made lemon drizzle - yum!

Then I went on a 2 mile run near mum and dads house. I should have gone this morning but I didn't get up early enough. I was deliberating whether to go or not but I'm glad I did.

Hope everyone else is having a good day x

So good that you're enjoying your new job :)

I like your food record and that you note and realise where you could have done better/without - it's all a learning curve.

The proms are amazing aren't they - never heard of someone arriving in a helicopter though

Have a lovely weekend xx

Thanks Katie. I'm quite relaxed about food at the moment although if I'm going to lose another half a stone I can't be but at the moment I'm happy.

The happiness is what counts :) xx

Woop woop! Great day food wise today:

Shake for late breakfast
Handful of nuts after bike ride before acupuncture
Bar for late lunch after acupuncture
Just had a chicken salad - co-op have started selling spatchcock chickens with a chimchurri marinade - lush! Just had some with salad leaves tomato cucumber and celery and a splash of olive oil to dress.

Coffee and tea with milk and water.

Going out in a bit so will be having a few drinks but not many. Really pleased with today's intake - feels like I'm getting back on it.
