Total Solution No more yo yo-ing!

Is there a support group near you? There's bound to be. My friend started one in my hometown after her daughter was still born. I'm sure there will be a network of families affected by miscarriage. Just a thought. Big hugs x

Good thinking I'll ask Lorraine next week. Think there's a monthly meeting run by the hospital.

You could hook up with people from there. It would be good for you to mix with people who have experienced similar to you. I'm sure U would meet a few people who could support you and likewise, I'm sure you'd be a great support for others. Ur OH may well be at a different stage to you or he may like to work through it in a different way. Group might be up his street too and might not be fir you. Worth a try... X

Deffo agree re the group thing - put it on your to do list missy.

Hubster won't be back til tomorrow, and we have no near neighbours and a tempting yard full of things people like to steal... When we were in the caravan down the yard whilst the fire damage was being finished I heard people talking - rob was somewhere on his way to Birmingham - he called a mate to come and check it out but they scarpered after maudy started going crazy when she heard them. Plus, we're in a bungalow - at least in a house they have a flight of stairs to get up before they can get you! I'm just a big scardy cat, I'm sure I'll get used to it, and we have CCTV cameras now so hopefully that will deter the wrong uns!

Definitely worth a try. I feel bad because I do have friends and family around but they don't really know what to say because they haven't been through it. Mind you, everyone feels differently and copes differently even if they have been through it!

Well deserved loss Yoyo. Roll on next weeks weigh in x

That's true... But ur bound to find someone u can relate too.

Like you say... Friends and family might feel awkward and don't know what to say, probably feel that they will put their foot in it etc. everyone is different.

I do think that you could be of support to others too. Although it's a way too soon for you. You strike me as a proactive, positive person and the support you give us on here is absolutely great. I think that's the way you are naturally.

Helping others gave my friend strength. She went on to become qualified in all sorts of counselling and now provides a service from our local GPs. So proud of her. Kathleen was still born, 13 years ago. Her anniversary was 22 July. Catherine had miscarriage about six months later but now has 2 gorgeous children. Sean is 11 and Natalie is 7...

Sorry, I've gone on. I'll stop now! X

Oh TH what you say about me is lovely and really touched me. I do hope I'm a support to others. I've already started my counselling training and I'm hoping to continue it soon, but maybe not this year.. We'll see..

Hoping I'll have my family one day, but until
that day comes I plan to enjoy myself! :) And look after my body :)

The story about your friend is very moving, good for her :) xx

Not very healthy today I'm afraid but I don't think I ate too much.

Granola for breakfast
Lunch was yummy! - two pieces of toast spread with humous and mushrooms cooked in garlic and butter and then a bit of griddled haloumi and rocket leaves on top. Deeelicious :)
Then I didn't have any dinner but I did eat probably 3/4 100g bar of green and blacks dark chocolate with lemon that arrived in our degustabox today. Probably 400 cals worth.
And half a packet of this yummy bacon and maple syrup popcorn that was also in the box.

Went out on my bike, did about 10k.

Run tomorrow :) then nursery. I'm in holiday club tomorrow so working with 5-11 year olds
Night all x

How did today go Yoyo. x

Hey Susie, I've eaten loads! Didn't run this morning so swapped my rest day to today and I'll do my run tomorrow after work.

Great day with the holiday club - it's nice to interact and talk to kids :)

Food :

Belvita breakfast biscuits as I was too late to make shake (and the blender needed washing anyway)

Small portion of chilli and small portion of pasta and choc cake with kids for lunch and tea

Exante bar for grown up lunch

Some fruit - melon and blueberries

Then... Went out for a middle eastern meal. Ate loads! Kebabs, falafel, haloumi, humous, salads etc. followed by Turkish delight! Lol..

I gained a little this morning, I'll be gaining a lot tomorrow! Going to try and manage without eating the kids food tomorrow and be good till next weigh in on weds for another loss.

I'm off to a spa with my best friend on Saturday, I can't wait. I bought a new bikini (gasp! A bikini!) and looking forward to a lovely pamper chill out day :) xx

I've been doing this 100 days. That's 100 days of being conscious about what I'm eating. 100 days since my massive chocolate binge over Easter and 100 days of slowly starting to love myself again. And finally 100 days of getting to know you lovely lot. I love you all xx night xx

(No, I'm not drunk ;) )

Lol Yoyo. Happy centurion for yesterday. What colour is the bikini and is it polkadot!!
