Was a very sad day, but a beautiful one too, saw some old faces I had not seen in a while and that was good albeit under not the best circumstances.

Took the missus out for dinner, she is now sleeping through Midsomer and I am trying to balance the laptop on my huge belly!

Walked dogbert for a good hour and a half (with a pub stop 3/4 way through for a pear cider) before we went out, he is at my side now, snoring his head off.

Back to work for 1 day tomorrow and then 4 days off - feel the need to make the most of them - want to at least go out for a picnic one day and have a bbq another day if we don't do anything else.

Dogbert had me up at 5.30 this morning, wanting an immediate poo! Yuk, thank goodness he woke me up to go out into the garden. Think it is the heat and drinking canal/pond water that has upset his tummy, he is a bit funny that way. Hope it improves, just a quick walk tonight away from any water.
