Thanks Lisa..... I think!!!! :D

We have been ironing (her) sewing (me) sorting out (me) getting stuff ready (me) and looks like we are getting somewhere now lol - time for bed folks xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning Bren, you'll soon be on holiday :)

Wow Lisa, you must be tired today then!

Yes Jim, 4 days and counting...............

Back on track so far today, 2 litres of water down me and just having my strawberry shake for lunch. I just get so stupid sometimes that I can't see the wood for the trees!

Lisa, finished the book, not overly convinced at this stage I have to say. Basically he says you can eat what you want, when you want, as much as you want. BUT, avoid processed foods, be careful what you eat with what (a bit like Harcombe in that respect) try not to cook too much (ie raw veg and loads of fruit) always eat fruit for breakfast if you can, nothing else, and don't eat meat, cheese or other dairy products if you can help it so that rules out Atkins more or less. hmmmmmmmm.

Yep, very wishy washy - hope the alcohol one is a lot better (well it must have something going for it as it seems to have done the trick for you - how long is it since you had the evil stuff now?)

Erm 3 days lol. But it was only 1 as I discovered half a bottle of vodie in the cupboard ;) and if you do actually read the book you'll see why (although it didn't have the effect it was supposed to). Other than that its 3 weeks.

ah ha lisa you had some alcohol. i take it you have the alan carr diet book bren love.
i havent had a fag since finishing the book - although i have been craving and very bloomin miserable!

Is it genuine craving? It's just he says you wont crave. I don't think I've ever experienced a real craving for anything. I have things because I want them, not because I'm prowling around, wringing my hands or unable to sit down and relax. I now realise that I'm a spoilt brat lol.

Hi Bren:)

Ref the book - I'm sure as with all these things you have to find the right one to click for you. That will be book, diet, exercise etc! Our brains very good at only listening/paying attention to things it wants to. Luckily mine has decided atkins food is sensible - phew;)

Hope all the packing and organising going well :D

Its going great Katie, half an hour on Friday and it will be done and we can go out for dinner and a gig hopefully lol

Diet..................hmmmmmmmmmmmmm Harcombe does appeal in a certain way but I love the richness of Atkins cos that is how I roll, dunno - will decide after the hols lol

Yes I have, not sure about it all. You didn't look that miserable, is it just that you are still associating having a fabulous time with smoking? You are doing so well and you must feel better in some way - please say you do xxxxx

I do the pacing thing before I cave lol

Have decided that I'm going to give it a shot too, when I get to 280.

Terrified at the thought, though!

The alcohol one? I dare not open it.......certainly not till after the hol. Am hoping that the diet one might help in a certain way, will try and do fruit for brekkie as there is usually a good selection...................

Was thinking of smoking - but alcohol goes hand in hand with it so that may have to go too! Could be Mission Impossible tho :)

Less alcohol might help with that?? I know it would with me.........but hate to think about giving it up cos I love it so much lol
