Barlick con club Vicky, ended up just an acoustic rehearsal but it was fine by me.
Yes Jim I did, only too a few shots though - playing with the ISO settings - will download them tonight to see how they worked, or not.
Fish tank cleaning - no ta, enough with my own cheers!
Off to opticians this afternoon to learn how to use contact lenses - wish me luck!!!
Will try and catch up on some posts tonight lovely people xxx

Good luck with the contacts! i dont wear them myself but my daughters friend has just started and I know they can be hard to adjust too, she's got the hang off them now and is enjoying doing sports she could'nt do before. x

I drove home without glasses on - woooooooooooo hoooooooooooo
not sure how much time I will be able to surf in them as one is geared to long vision and one to short vision (it does work for most things) but all close vision is a bit odd and may result in a headache or is that the wine?

Oh that's so great hun, was it Ok putting them in?
I had 3 goes at putting them in and taking them out and then putting them back in and leaving them the assistant said "Are you sure you haven't worn them before?" lol - much easier than I expected, took them out about an hour and a half ago, quick as anything!
the main thing I cannot get used to is seeing myself in the mirror without face furniture - so very very weird!!!!
might be different with makeup on though.............have had a fairly butch couple of days lol

Evening Bren... They are much more difficult when you're wearing long false nails ... I wore them for years but once eyes needed the one short sight one long sight solution I ended up feeling drunk all the time so have gone to glasses... Sometimes I hankering after them though! Really pleased you're managing them so well!

Good to hear they seem to work DH went to get some disposable lens for a party in the summer just to try them out - optician referred him for additional tests and still going thro the system....not a happy outcome altho better than going blind without knowing
