Hi All
i am new to the diet :) just about to enter day 3 and am finding it ok so far .Do you have any survival tips pleeeeaassee x

Hey :) best tip is to keep drinking and join team ideal. Support is great :) x

Keep going - probably today & tomorrow will be hardest until you get into ketosis so come on here as much as poss and read people's stories & successes. Drink lots and try to keep yourself busy or else go to bed very early!!! Get through this first week & it does get easier I promise!!

Yes I don't want to jinx how well it's going as I know once I have eaten I do find it hard to refocus!! Hopefully by then we will both be spurred on by the differences already that it will be a breeze!!!!

Get some pretties - make you feel good when you look down and catch nice nails!!! (shallow I know but makes me feel good anyway!!!!)

Distraction distraction distraction - just keep you hands and your mind busy :)

Totally not sure what step I'm doing after holiday yet but I to find it more diff with eating as well. But like u hoping what I loose between now and then will spur me on to stay on track as I have to reintroduce normal food at sone point

Better thanks - you would have thought drinking 72 million pints of water is enough but obviously not!!!!
 
The jeans have both arrived - in a dilemma now as even the 14 only made it to about knee level!!! Netalone the 12s - do I keep them or send back?!?!

Mines getting worse, I'm at work, can't wait to get home. Taken prescription strength codeine, that should shift it. x

Poor you, hope the drugs do the trick - horrible if you having to work when having a blinding headache. How much longer til you can leave?

Hmmm, difficult one. Definatly keep 14's.
Depends, a stone is a dress size apparently, so work out what you want to do based on that? I kept a beautiful dress size 12, that was four years ago, still hanging there now, never worn. But I do hope to wear it this year x

I know - will try the bigger ones on properly later - also hard to tell in advance if they will look nice or not!!! Think at the mo am working on keeping them to keep me on straight & narrow as only 19 days in & got another 14 weeks til holiday - when I put it like that I realise I could definitely be a completely different size & shape by then.......!

She's just moved it to thurs afternoon aagh!! She wanted Friday but luckily I can't make then so what I plan to do is weigh Monday morning as per usual & then again with her on thurs & not expect anything. Unless I'm feeling strong enough to wait til thurs......

Really struggling this evening - think its work stress but even knowing what it is isn't helping!!

Thanks - i know I can, repeat again, I know I can!!! I am safe now - my danger time is 4-7pm really and all day I have been having "food thoughts"!! so I am pleased to have lasted another day - each one adds up and makes it easier to stick to. Slightly demoralised myself with those jeans - I know they werent expected to fit but just trying them on and falling so far was demoralising. Think I am still in denial about my starting point - still think of myself as slimmer than I am as I was until 40 so it is sometimes a shock as to what happened!! Anyway, its going in the right direction so another day done.
