Oh to be a consistent Target Member!!

I was glad to see the scales had shifted down 3/4lb this morning. I feel really good today and very determined to get those scales back to where they should be...maybe it was after hearing that my group lost a total of 98lbs this morning!!
I'm eating lunch out tomorrow with a friend who's driving over from Eastbourne, we usually go to Wetherspoons. So that will be a jacket with tuna mayo & salad and an ice cream and berry compote. Both are cheap so not big portions.

Just a warning I believe from my consultant that wetherspoons deep fry their jacket pots at some time in the process, however tomorrow is the day after WI officially it doesn't matter does it Janet! ;-)

Yes I've heard that too Donna...I checked the sw website for Wetherspoons says:

  • Jacket potatoes. For a light bite there are lots of jacket potato toppings that fit in with Food Optimising. A spud topped with good old baked beans is fabulously Free! (Ask for any sauce or sour cream on the side – or without butter – so you stay in control of your Syns.

The dessert will be another matter....

Its an urban myth they deep fry their potatoes and totally 100% not true

Well what to do really...it won't arrive for about a week so maybe book it using another card and then pay that off with the new card? Do you think anyone (at the bank) would question that? It's not transferring a balance is it?

I don't think you can pay off one credit card with another, otherwise, as you say, it would be classed as a balance transfer, and would possibly incur fees, so maybe wait for the new card, just in case?

Thanks Jaffa...it certainly helped going for the bank appointment instead of coming straight home! That appointment was 1 hour so it was 2.30 when we got home...and Joseph wanted roast chicken, roast potatoes & parnsips etc. Meanwhile (I was starving!) I did my stir fry meal...so we finally ate together at 3.30!

I didn't sleep to badly either as a friend told my husband an old wives tale about putting vicks on the soles of your feet then socks to help with night time coughs
Not sure if it was that or the sleepy cough mixture I took as I stopped using that for a few days but something seemed to have worked and my husband and cat didn't abandon me again !
