Well I'm up to 3.3ltrs so far or water.

BREAKFAST
175G Yoghurt, kiwi fruit, half a ryvita and 1 sweetener

SNACK
g/tea and other half of ryvita

LUNCH
115g Tuna + 115g of vege, 1tsp of mayo

SNACK
H/Dew Melon 80g
1 kiwi
2 crackers
1 decaf black coffee

I'll up date this later when I've eaten dinner etc.

No haven't been following Cohen's just been low carbing... back on Cohens this week!

Excellent day for you so far... I've had 175g yoghurt & am nearly thru my 1st litre... plan on 100g tuna & 105g veg for lunch.x
 
I have eaten really well... but snuck about 30g or mozzarella, 1 extra cracker and 1TBS of pumpkin seeds! I'm up to 4 ltrs of water though and might try for another before bed.

We are having a night in tonight, in fact all weekend and I think I might also have an apple stewed in diet lemonade (zero sugar) with cinnamon and nutmeg. Will take me over the fruit for the day but will stop me from eating something forbidden!

I always ate an extra apple or can of lemonade, sometimes a bit of cheese (protein is the worst I think to use, with the whole 5hr business) and extra crackers.

But yes, I think that if my mind knows that I'm allowed to "cheat", then by using these foods it should do much damage.

Truth; It does affect the weight loss.

I remember one week eating some cashews, about 1/3 of a cup. Well I gained 1.8 kilos over night and it took me 2 weeks to budge it!! I know!

Linz are you doing any exercise? Cohen's recommends that dont start anything and if you are you will have to drop it right back because it messes with your metabolism that the diet is trying to correct with food.

I am also thinking that because I am exercising or plan to be I will probably be hungry as this has happened in the past so I will eat an extra piece of fruit and 2 crackers a day. Seems reasonable. I also found that on Cohen's I didn't want to exercise because at the end of the day I had no energy.

howdy howdy guys. how are we doing. i'm finally home after 5 days of living it up with my best mate and i'm shattered, ha. don't think my loss is going to be much again this week... but we shall see what tomorrow brings. my first official weigh in in a month. i wanted to have lost a stone but think i'll be lucky to have lost half that...

Hi Clarri, Linz, Abz....

Glad Abz you had a good weekend. I see it if you deviate just get back on with it at the next meal time which is usually in a few hours and not tomorrow. I think weigh in should still be successful for you!

Linz, check out my diary if updated my weekend and this evenings meal. I've deviated slightly... I'm also going home in about 4 or 5 weeks to Perth and heard that my sister in law has lost some weight. It's great for her, but, maybe this sounds awful, I dont want to be the fat one coming home! My motivation is huge now to stick to things and be 4 kilos slimmer, around the 76cm waist mark by then. I want this!

eurgh!! here we go (again)

I'm currently on lighter life and although it is truly awesome i'm having trouble sticking to it and seem to be relapsing like crazy!!!! This is why i've joined up here for the inspiration and encouragement so desperately needed. I DO really want to lose all my weight so why can't i just bloody well stick to the diet?!?!?!?!?!!!!! anyway - just wanted to give myself a mention so now I am committed to checking in after 'weigh in' each week.

HI Ick and welcome!

Darl, you have made a great choice to loose weight and take controll of things again so just take every meal as it comes, if you deviate get back on with things at the next meal NOT TOMORROW.

Write a list of why you are doing this and read it over and over, before every meal, when you wake and before bed.

Also write a list of things you can do when you feel like eating off your plan. Welcome again and good luck, we look forward to more of your posts.

hey hon. i didn't really deviate. i had a bit of chicken which is a allowed. i had three g and slimline t's which was the only deviation but low carb enough not to make much of a difference. if i'd deviated the pizza would have been there!! but it wasn't. i am going to discuss it all with my cdc tonight. i could be losing 2lbs a week and actually eating food for goodness sake!! so i will see what she says...

Well it is for me... I expect you are in bed asleep. How's the week been for you? I measured this morning and after a good - average week sticking to Cohen's I have lost 5cm's from my body and 2cm's around the waist.

hi guys. how's it going? well i didn't lose much. it was as expected. i lost about 7.5lbs in a month... not bad, unless you are on sole source cd and supposed to lose about a stone. so i've been put on some food. i'm on the 810 plan now so shakes, soups and a small meal in the hope that it will kickstart my metabolism and make me lose some weight since ss isn't working. plus my hormones are making me into somebody i just don't like. not to mention the totm every other bloody week!! so yeah. hopefully that will sort itself out. of course all i've done so far is gain water weight now i'm out of ketosis but hopefully that will drop off again. i'm 5lbs up on the other day. a quick weigh in on monday to see how i'm doing so hopefully i'll have lost something by then. i need a BIG drop...
