Just to let you all know..... Lisas not gone AWOL & left the country wi a stash of body shop goodies. Her little un is not very well & she has promised she'll be back on here soon whipping our buts into shape.

Thanks Kay , yeah i was surprised but delighted . Have to stay good now. My friend got engaged in Nov and asked me to be bridesmaid in june 2013 so was happy enough to be able to shift most if not all of my weight but at the weekend she dropped the bomb she is getting married sept this year so panic panic panic now :sigh:. Hope all is well with you , Gwen x x

Tuesday 10th January 2012

POSITIVES
1. I know that I can do this..
2. I have the day off tomorrow (to go with my sister to the auditions)
3. I enjoyed the quiz with my friends...

I really struggled with my positives today...

I have a confession to make to you all... before Christmas I was tracking everything and was eating on average 300-500pp over my dailies/weeklies each week.... I started back on plan on Monday 2nd Jan... But since then I have been eating the odd pp each day without tracking it .... and then this weekend I have had about 10 each day over... so I think that instead of 10pp over (yest) I was 30pp over from Sat/Sun/Mon... today I was awful... there was flapjack and mini teacakes at work... and I ate loads of them every time I went to the kitchen...:( and then I snacked while cooking tea.... so I think today I went 30pp over... stupid thing is it doesn't seem so bad compared to pre-Christmas....

Scales are now a STS which is no worse than I deserve.... So cross at myself...

I realised I am only letting myself down and felt the need to confess to you all... I don't particularly want kind words or a lecture just wanted to tell u....

I am in Manchester tomorrow with my sister ... hoping I can stay within my pps for the meals...looks like we wont be back till really quite late and so no time for gym :(

I will get back to the gym and 100% on track on Thursday.... :D

Next week I don't seem to have too much planned so should have more weeklies left....

I watched the biggest loser tonight... it made me really emotional... i want to do this so badly... I CAN DO IT! I just need to remind myself whenever I want chocolate why I am doing it... I am thinking I will give up choc for a month.... gonna focus on meals and get something else for treats.. maybe a little cake or icecream or skittles or something... Will just get mini packets... Will go shopping on saturday... so last choc will be Friday...

I am still stressing about eating fruit/veg... biggest loser has made me worry about my health... but I know that if I push to hard I will get really upset... so I will buy fruit and start with smoothies... then whole fruit and finally veg (find veg the hardest)... gonna take one day at a time...

So that is enough for now... Hugs to all

Hi carly no lecture but today is a new day so just get bck to tracking today . I dont eat veg either and only a bit of fruit so its harder to bulk up dinners but i do eat home made veg soup as long as its super smooth. I dont watch biggest loser but we have a similar programme over here that normally upsets me every year but this year it didnt cos im doing something about my weight as are you so we should be proud not upset. This is the year of the bridesmaids lol

Carly, no lecture. You admitted what a bad few days you've had, recognised where you've slipped up , drawn a line under it and moved on. Like you say hopefully next week will be easier.

Wednesday 11th January 2012

POSITIVES
1. I went to the gym and worked really hard
2. I had a day off plan without going mad
3. I enjoyed the day with my little sister :D

I realise that today's intake was bad (40pp over!)... I went to Manchester with my sister for her audition.. it went really well and so I am really hopeful she gets it (I will be jealous as I always fancied being a blue coat or working in an american "camp" but too chicken at this size)... and so had a fairly sensible lunch... but after the audition we went to Krispy Kreme.. and then the whole family went for a meal... so I enjoyed my day... but then I immediately went to the gym when we got home to work some off... I did day 1 again of week 1.... and a bit on the weird ski machine thing.. which really hurts btw... (so 10AP earned :D)

So I know it looks bad... but I was in control.. and for once did not go mad with choc.. 2 kit kats only lol... and tomorrow will be my last day with choc.. I have given the remaining kit kats to my mum to hide (for my dad) ... and I am going food shopping on sat... I am going to buy other treats.. but nothing at all with choc.. so no choc cakes or choc yogurts or choc icecream... gonna maybe get jelly tots .. do they do mini fruit pastiles? or maybe some haribo.. and maybe cake depending on what I fancy... and I only plan to have one cake/ sweet a day and after the other meal I will have yogurt.. not sure how that will work on Friday as I am not going shopping till sat lol.. will maybe get fruit pastiles from tuck shop at work or somet... and Friday night is poker night.. so will potentially be a takeaway... but sat night at my friend's mums party and I am driving as I am working on Sunday... so will use some weeklies Friday for takeaway and the rest can just be split throughout the week :D

BTW - I bought two lovely new dresses in Primark today :D so excited... £10 each :D and I also bought some black brogues - to walk to my new job in (heels in bag..) and a ruck sack to take my gym kit to work in (when I walk)... now all I need to do is be brave and hand in notice.... debating waiting to end of month tho as they paid for my recent exams and would feel really bad... plus I am worrying about the reaction of one person.. think the others will be ok.. just the big boss who terrifies me at the best of times... hmmmmm

So I am feeling much more positive now I have these plans in place.. think I will STS on Friday but ok with that...

Am going to gym tomorrow (maybe to do day 2 of C25k)... and a class sat morning (maybe day 2 of c25k?! - depends on what my friend says)... and then Sunday Gym and day 3 of c25k... then Monday we are booked for class, tues I have a class booked alone... and wed we are both booked for a class...

So skint at mo that I can't afford a great deal of socialising... as I said - poker and takeaway fri, soft drinks sat, quiz next tues, cinema on wed... then next weekend I am pretty much at home/gym ... and the sunday I will do dvds with friend...

Rambled enough now xx


Ooooo... Also got my friends mum to pick me up a pedometer at her next meeting... Ready for new job and walking to work! Xx

OH says it's his new fave meal. Quite delish really & filling, can't quite believe it was 14pp but had everythin in which was ok I suppose.

Also been to pick Lauren up from MIL's. She says " Lauren tells me you don't want sweet stuff anymore" I says "yeah, wot wi Zak avin to go to dentist & stuff" haha hope she gets message I can't make it any clearer. Lol xxxxkayxxx

Kay - Hope the MIL got the message.. at least it was snack-a-jacks.. for me the other day it was kit kats lol... I have all sorts of things.. mostly choc.. but giving that up for a month :s

Thursday 12th January 2012

POSITIVES 1. I went to the gym and worked really hard
2. I enjoyed my last chocolate for at least a month
3. I got an interview for the PGCE

Eventful day... busy day with work.. then to gym and worked hard on day 2 of c25k :D also did my food shopping and got muller lights for lunch, some apples and pineapple to smoothie... and got some jelly sweets/ mr kipling lemon or angel slices for after evening meal :D NO MORE CHOC from tomorrow am...

Scales will hopefully give me a sts tomorrow...

Now not having takeaway tomorrow as they are having chinese and I am not a fan.. boss was offering to cook (and may still do this) but I have bought the chicago town pizzas... 2 are 28pp which sounds a lot but will feel like a treat and only use a few weeklies compared to takeaway :D looking forward to poker...

Gonna draft my resignation letter this weekend... found out today that I have an interview for the PGCE... having a quick read of what i have to do is a bit scary.. just gonna prepare prepare prepare :D Will update properly over weekend as really must sleep!

Yes I did a test, and it was negative..

BUT, Im totally happy with that, I am not known for my patience, so if I want something, I want it straight away !

Also, after lying in bed last night, I decided, I NEED TO GET INTO THE NEXT STONE BRACKET! Like really, Ive pissed around enough now, I need to really get back onto it!

thats what this thread is all about... think Ive been waaayyy to soft on myself, and I need to give myself a good telling off!

So.... tracking book is out of the cupboard!

and I didn't go to weigh in last night.... I fell asleep at about 6 o'clock... :/

So, where have I been you ask? I've been to the big city!
Set off to London on Wednesday afternoon and it took 5 hours on the train *snooze*. I'd not had any lunch so bought a sandwich on the train and in 'old' Emma mode also bought a grab bag of walkers cheese and onion crisps! Then I pointed them. OMG! 8pps for the sandwich and 15pps for the crisps. So I gave the crisps to a lady on the train with a toddler. How good am I!!

Managed to get to my hotel without getting lost, being mugged or generally making a tit of myself (wait for it) and registered at reception, then got in the lift to go to my floor and then got out again and complained that the lift wasn't working to which the 'concierge' said " no madam, you need to use your room card to use the lift". Well I had to look like a proper country bumpkin at some point so at least its out of the way!

Had a meal in the hotel after nearly an hours deliberation about what i could eat. I had Gammon and Egg with chunky chips. Left half of the chips.
I bought a rainbow of fruit (melon to you and me) from M&S food shop (which there seems to be one on every corner in London) and had that for my breakfast.

At the training course they gave us a menu for Pret a manger and everything had avocado or mayo or something equally as bad in. so i asked for a chicken club sandwich without mayo. Lunchtime comes and of course there's no sandwich for me as they don't do sandwiches without mayo! So off I trot to the pret a manger down the road and had a tuna mayo sandwich and two banana's. Rock on Emmsie!

Top top it all off the training room was on the fourth floor - no lift. And the loo was in the basement - and I have the weakest bladder ever - so nearly had a heart attack after going up and down the stairs about 8 times during the day.

Got to Euston station last night and couldn't decide what to have for tea whilst i had an hour to wait for my train - so I had Nandos chicken and chips with coleslaw - everything pointed.

Back from London and am dead proud of myself for thinking of the diet at every step and being good.

The only down side is that spending 5 hours on a train at night means you sit and look at your reflection in the window and that depressed me a bit - I look fatter than ever! So I'm off to the gym with hubbie tonight.

Phew! If you read all this then big gold stars for you.
