Pesty's Diary: Losing the baby bulge

General updates for the day:

- I have a parking space (albeit temporary) so I'm doing normal people hours for a while instead of the 11 I'm currently doing everyday (woohoo) - my serious issues sleeping / trying to get to sleep without thinking of all the worst scenarios that could possibly ever happen have stopped this week. I put a ban on drinking tea after 8 and that stopped my nightmares, I've now moved it forward and will only have 1 cup after work (so long as it's before 7) and I have fallen asleep perfectly well all week! *touch wood*

- took my jumper off at work today as they got a bit generous with the thermostat and overheard one colleague say to another 'alright mate, why don't u just take a picture of her jeez' I felt quite triumphant and a little pretty (I'm sure he was just day dreaming in my general direction but I'll take it!!) :)

- cooked all dinners on Tuesday so all I've had to do is reheat all week, I much prefer this version of cooking

- so overwhelmed by the level of work ATM that today I glazed over and had no sense of urgency or speed whatsoever, it was actually quiet enjoyable, although I'm 1000% sure ill regret that tomorrow.

Anyway off to the land of nod (at 9:40, check me out!!) Hope you all had wonderfully SW friendly days and I'm very much looking forward to my marmite and Philadelphia on toast for breakfast, no it's not gross, it's actually bloody amazing, if you like marmite and you like Phili try it, and then come back and tell me what a food wizard I am :) Xxx

Yay what a wonderful day, I love marmite & Philli but never tried them together but will now!

Have you tried Marmite & banana on toast?
It's wonderful.

I usually have Marmite & Philly on my Ryvitas/Scanbran at lunchtime. Yum.

No I havent Sarah, I will have to give it a go!!

Dress down fridays at work and my new jeans are feeling a little baggy :) I will have to dig my measurements out to see how im getting on.

Often, with me, the scales and the measurements can be extremely different! So my 1lb a week could be doing big things on the measurement side xxx

It sounds weird, but give it a go.
The salt in the marmite really helps somehow with the banana.

Ooooooh, let me know what you think, Michelle.
I just slice, or very slightly crush, the banana onto the marmited toast. I don't mush it up first or anything.

Still better is the marmite & banana toast sandwich.

Well, it would appear i havent posted in 3 days!! I must get into the habit of coming on here at the weekend!!!

I had SUCH a lovely weekend. Had a meal with dad and step-mum, brother and OH. Had my brother back to ours after the meal and took him to Wickford aquarium late afternoon, watched a film and stayed in Saturday night. Went to Braintree then Colchester to other aquariums on Sunday and had a really nice drive and bought 4 new BEAUTIFUL fishys for my aquarium, then cooked a lamb roast and watched another film.

It was really lovely.

I’m hoping we’re going to stay in a bit more, OH loves going out but I love not having hangovers haha

Foodwise I was a bit naughty on Saturday, had steak (fine) but it came with LOTS of chips (which i kept sneaking onto my brothers plate when he wasnt looking) and mushrooms and battered onion rings cooked in oil, I also had 2 pints of Aspens which i ordered without even thinking!! I only had toast other than that on Saturday so im hoping it wasnt too bad. Id still love to get that 1lb off this week!!

xxx
