This is Furrystompers coconut cake but my OH doesnt like coconut so i used almod essence in the sponge and also mixed into the quark. It saved 4 1/2 syns on the dessicated coconut so the whole cake is only 7 1/2 syns!

6 1/2 syns per slice, and its not a very big slice im afraid but very, very tasty!

I used quark mixed with a little almond essence for my 'cream'

Hits the spot though! I need to find people to help me eat it, there is only 2 of us in my house so i'll be calling my sisters soon asking them to come and get a piece before i consume it all

I suppose you could half it if you made it in a smaller tin, cant see if being a problem. The recipe on the site serves 10 so i suppose a smaller tin would serve 6?

Some lovely looking food here ladies, I love almond extract it makes things taste soooo good. Will try that with the cake.

Donnie - the coconut is lovely in this soup, its not overpowering but it really fuses well with the sweet potato.

Its not 2 ingredients i would have used together before but it really works

Here is a Quorn Lasange which used 2 A's and no syns.
And a Lime and coconut pudding which was made using a lemon and lime jelly (1/2 a syn) as only used 1/4 of it, quark with a carribean coconut sachet and sweetner (2 syns) and 2 tbs light aerosol cream(1/2 Syn)
