I had the same, it is due to height I think as I am a shorty! They have to stretch out somehow. Not that they get very far I guess hence why it's so sore! X

It was the same for me too, I'm only 5'3 and Seth is a long baby. Not sure how he fit in there tbh!

Well just back from AN check... Baby's def not dis-engaged as I thought she might be last night... am 2cm dilated... asked for a sweep (and got it )
She said labour is definitely not far off... She reckons I'll have laboured within the week.. If not she'll do another sweep next week

Scan was a bit worrying this morning as baby decided to go n have a nap.. No amount of jumping up n down or rolling side to side would get her going so ended up having a trace done.. All was fine there n they were happy enough with everything... Scan lady wants to bring me back in next for another scan as she couldn't get all her measurements with babys head being so far down... She got her tummy n thigh measurements but for the purpose of the study she needs a more accurate had measurement... Because of the lack of movement we ended up being in the hospital ALLOT longer than we'd expected... But all is good n thats all that matters

Ha ha.. I know... Was so shocked I filled up.. Really wasn't expecting it.. I've been telling myself I won't have my baby til March!!!

PS.. For those still pregnant.. The sweep took 5 seconds.. Was a little uncomfortable, but not in the slightest sore... I know its different for everyone so its sore for some etc.. But for me it wasn't at all...

Oooh 2cm exciting! i went in on the Friday night and was 2cm then by the early hours of Sunday morning I was 5cm. Pleased all is well x

I had a sweep tonight and agree - it was more uncomfortable than painful, a little "cringey" - to me it felt having a normal internal I suppose - just felt period-pain like x I just breathed through it and felt fine after too... little tender now mind xx

I had an attempted sweep twice and it wasn't that bad, having the coil fitted the other day was worse if I'm honest!

You girls are doing great, I wasn't even 1cm at 39 weeks and only just over 1cm after my waters broke! So you're on your way - excited for more new babies to awwwww over <3 xxx

Really random Q, and it's probably a silly one.
But last night after hospital I was sat at my MILs table, and when getting up I gently knocked the top of my bump on the table. It was only gentle but it really bloody hurt!! And since then there's a patch at the top of bump that feels bruised...no mark or anything...just hurts and feels tender.

Baby moving about fine but was just wondering if I had done any damage?! lol. Was surprised by the ouchyness as I only knocked it a tiny bit x

Wouldn't worry too much hun, you probably just caught a nerve. Your tummy will be quite sensitive at the moment - it's obviously quite stretched!

Well I experienced BH for the first time last night.... OUCH! not good when it's just after a meal too with a full stomach lol.

Girls - may be tmi but I am so horny the last few days (eeeek, can't believe I've posted that on a forum!) Bella is 13 days old and I'm recovering from forceps delivery where I've got a substantial cut and unfortunately an infection so nothing is going to be happening there but I could literally jump on Charles!!!?
Didn't have much of a sex drive at the end of my pregnancy and wouldn't say it's ever been particularly high anyway but OMG... Anyone else felt like this?
