Pregnancy and Baby Advice Thread: From Conception to Birth, and Beyond!

I get the period and back pain thing, had it for a few weeks now. Like when you're just coming on... I get it with BH usually, have had it this evening. It lasts for a while, comes and goes a bit for a few hours and then goes off and I don't get it again for a day or so. Can't really add anything else other than what everyone's already said. Keep an eye on it! xxx

That's exactly what mine is like. I was only saying the other day I've had no BH's or anything. I really need to stop showing off ;-) was the same with the sleep thing. "Oh I can sleep straight through" then Boom! Heartburn and sleepless nights. I'm keeping my mouth shut from now on!!xxx

Sounds like a plan Sarah. Like you say it could be a toilet thing but worth keeping an eye on. These babies! Like to keep us on our toes! Xx

They definitely do. I'll be glad once baby is here and I get my body back! As much as I LOVE being pregnant I'm ready to be a mummy now xx

Hi hun How you feeling/doing? Was thinking about you today-hope everything is ok. Not long now? Did try send you a msg but it says you need to clear some space! Lol! Susie x

Ah bless you hun xxx I will clear my inbox! I'm doing ok, baby is engaging and I saw my consultant today. If baby's not here by 40 weeks I'm being induced as the SPD is getting worse the further baby engages and I'm really struggling to do much at all now! So induction booked for 14th December - eek! Hopefully he'll come on his own before then but if not? The end is in sight... :) xxx

Lol, don't mention anything and you won't get it! Mind you I said my heartburn and reflux had gone and then it came back :/ Think I need to keep quiet too hehe ;) xxx

I was the same... At 8 weeks pregnant I was pretty much bragging that I hadn't even felt sick yet...next day MS starts and lasts for another 8 joyful weeks lol xx

Maybe we should only tell each other when we've actually got something and keep quiet the rest of the time ;-) xx

How are the pains this morning Sarah_lou? Hope they ease up!
Yay to getting a date Sarah. 14th december will fly round eeeekkkkk, exciting stuff x

No pains at all today, oddly. Not complaining though. Back is starting to ache a bit now but that's probably because we just put the tree up then cleaned the living room and kitchen ;-)

Thanks Laura :) Now I'm too busy being scared about the induction! I can't win lol. Good grief, I do want this pregnancy done with but I worry about evicting the little dude before he's done cooking. Just hoping he comes early now :) xxx

Pains will probably come and go now till you actually go into labour. Very annoying though because everytime you wonder if 'THIS IS IT'. YAY to putting the tree up, I love love LOVE Christmas. We'll put ours up on the 8th, but I'm gonna tidy the sitting room, hoover and make space for everything this evening hopefully.

Try not to worry, little one will be absolutely fine when he is born...I know easier said than done, but you'll do great and probably really surprise yourself xx

Colin keeps telling me I'll do better than I think - I have no confidence in myself! Will see how I go for the next two weeks and if I'm feeling good pain wise to go on a little longer come induction day then I will :) xxx

Ahhh I hope so! He's really low down now, I can feel him battering at my hip bones right now ;) I bet you can get this for weeks though before labour starts right? I am hoping things will kick off soon though, just trying not to think too hard about it in the hope that chilling out might help! xxx

Anyones bump feel really heavy n "full" at my stage (27 weeks)???
And the very bottom of the bump (slightly above pubic bone) really sore? With AF type cramps in their back???

Yep!! Had it for the last week or so x feels very heavy and tender particularly at the bottom. This morning I actually felt like she was going to fall out lol as I had a very odd feeling in my lady bits xx
