Pregnancy and Slimming World

Fiona has gone quiet....i wonder if we will have baby news soon?? ;-)

I am 33 weeks pregnant now and bloody sick and tired of chronic hesrtburn, restless leg syndrome and backache :-( given in and started iron tablets yesterday as they have told me i am anemic now and apparently lack of iron can be a factor in restless leg so i will no doubt get constipation on top of everything else ;-)

Ooh the joys x

Gosh I forgot to update I'm sorry. Isobel grace was born at 9.38 yesterday morning. I was induced 10.30 ish and contractions really started kicking in about 7pm but no dilation till 5.30am pushing took 10 minutes!! She was born still in her sack apparently very rare??
I lost a LOT of blood and almost landed up in theatre but girls I didn't tear and that is an amazing feeling :) x

[QUOTcongratulations to you and your partner. Take care of yourself and 10 mins that is quick but glad you did not end up in theatre or with any tears. I am dreading my second time! X

Congratulations! Hope you are feeling better soon, sound like a stressful time but all done now and you've a little baby girl to show for it, awwww xxx

Maybe I'm fussy but the lacto free foods aren't great. I do push it some days though & add a babybel to a jacket potato or sneak a drop of milk in tea when at tots group. It's when that starts to be all day or several days my tummy shouts at me.

I've been so good today. Packed a salad for the picnic while the kids had their bits & pieces. Then randomly stopped at the bakery to buy buns for the kids as well as a florentine for myself. Still not sure where that came from but I kind of drove past, stopped, bought, drove home, ate??? Then had about half a share bag of the skittles I like as well as a fruit juice. I just don't want to eat fruit fruit fruit while my head hurts this much. I was sympathy food, lol! I suppose if I try to be good & succeed more than 50% of the time it's better than being naughty 100% of the time.

Had my first antenatal this morning. My docs have an old scanner they use so quality not great but I did see baby kicking it's wee legs. Doc literally went there's baby kicking, heart beat, bam machine off. Glad I saw it though. Back to proper doc on Wed for my follow up tests. Really hope this headache is gone by now or she can treat it.

Overall not a bad day. Weigh in tonight though & I just want to eat eat eat!

Aww atleast you got to see baby and really hope they can sort this headache out for you on wednesday x
Lol weigh in day is my hungriest day of the week and just want to eat everything that comes in my way x

My sister was born in her sack....my mom was told she'd never drown. She has tried this out many times over the years by jumping into fountains, ponds etc when wee but always been fine although still can't swim. It's an old wives tale or something.

Congrats! Xo

Can you not take something like lactulose or fybogel with the iron tablets to combat the constipation x
I had to go on iron tablets for anamia after having my first daughter and thankfully only was on them for a month but i remember the constipation so well! x

I'v heard this as well hun. Apparently in the olden days they used 2 dry the sack n sell it 2 sailors as an anti-drowning charm - how gross is that!? lol! :D
