I had the most amazing day yesterday! Mil took us to a table top sale, we thought it was a general one but it wasn't - it was a baby one. For a grand total of around £40 we picked up:
A play gym
A vibrating bouncer
A Tomy baby carrier
A graco travel cot
A night light bear
A play lion (with lots of sensory bits)
A bump support band
A microwave steriliser
Some toy jungle skittles
2 swaddle blankets

Wow can't believe how much we've saved and I feel great to actually have bought some bits!

I know! Most of the bits we really wanted to buy brand new but for that price I totally couldn't resist. We're probably looking to buy the pram soon too as mothercare have an offer on at the mo where we can get £100 off... And who knows how long that'll last...

It wasn't a special event - just a table top sale in a leisure centre (like a boot sale) but baby-specific. Apparently NCT do similar things quite regularly, but sell more up-market clothes, but at a cut down price. So I'll be keeping an eye out for those, even though we still won't be buying many clothes until the baby is born. Neutral stuff is so boring!!

Well I've just done it - I've ordered the pram with a maxicosi car seat which can fit on it too!!
Mothercare have an offer on at the mo - £20 off for every £100 you spend. So what should have been £520 was only £420!!
We were honestly going to wait until at least July/August to buy the pram, but with that offer on we just couldn't resist.
So really after our haul on Saturday, we've only got the nursery furniture and a few bits and pieces left to get. Eek!

Im so confused, i am TTC, last week i have metallic taste in my mouth along with twinges at bottom of my tummy, period was due 22nd (yesterday), this is going by last months cycle, usually comes every 21-25 day but last night i had some brown discharge, i thought it was beginning of my period but this mornin its still the same, its not on my underwear or anything just when i wipe (sorry for too much info) i dont no what to make of this.. can any1 help?

Not sure if this helps - but this is exactly what happened to me when I found out I was pregnant.
I was due on the 19th January, had some brown spotting, so thinking this was the start of my period, I was devastated as thought that was 'the month', proceeded to go out that night to a cheese night (think of all the unpasturised cheeses you're not allowed and times by 10!!) and drink a few glasses of red wine. Then later that evening the spotting stopped. I waited a couple more days, still no more bleeding and tested on 21st January - it was positive!!
May not be the same story for you as it may just be the start of your period, but who knows. I'd give it a couple of days and take a test honey.

Could be start of period or Implantation? You could do a test if you are due now hun.

My period is due next Wednesday, i have been feeling VERY tired last few days and sore boobs, but i think its just my period coming. Did anyone have very early symptoms?

I didn't have any symptoms at all (apart from that spotting for one day which I expect was implantation bleeding), they all started about a week after I found out. But I know everyone's different!

Hiya aw i wud be over the moon if i was pregnant, this never usually happens with my period so that why im a bit thru off, i think i will give it to wed and if i still have no proper period i will test.. fingers crossed as i done it properly last month by ovulation dates etc and used the sticks eeek!

Good luck!! That's what threw me off too - for it just to stop after a day it was very strange for me. But try and give it a couple of days before you test as you're less likely to get a false negative if the hormone levels aren't high enough

Yeah its strange for me and plus the fact i was sick on saturday just all of a sudden but yep im gonna wait to around wednesday and if a proper period hasnt came il test then.. x

I tested because I went to make a coffee on day off wards and thought "I can't drink that, I'll have tea instead" which is not like me, as I usually drank about 8 - 10 coffees a day. Tested on off chance expecting it to be negative, again.

For situations like this I recommend thee to the Pound shop or Ebay for cheap tests that will pick up 5miu of the pregnancy hormone in your urine. Just because the test is cheap doesn't mean it isn't good. And saves this worry and wondering.

Wow been swim today and it totally wiped me out. Hopefully I have better night sleep tonight as last night I was tossing and turning. I also got my consultant in the afternoon so fingers crossed everything goes ok with him and he does looks at my mental health

Same thing happened to me too (minus the cheese ) I just assumed i had come on but later on that night (11pmish) i'm not sure why, i decided to take a cheapie test and there was a really faint positive! Shock was not the word! Took the cheapies (i got a load from ebay) every day for about 2 weeks after that only to see the line get darker and darker.

Make sure you hold on and don't pee for at least 3 hours Good luck, but don't be disappointed if you get a neg today, there may just not be quite enough hormones yet to show up
