Aww bless you, I know it's easy for me to say I'm only 17 weeks ;) but try and relax :) I'm sure it will all go smoothly. I can totally understand the nerves though, whether it's your first baby or 10th, every birth experience is different and it's a huge event in a woman's life. I'm sure everything will be fine. You'll have midwives etc on hand and they will look after you and baby :)

xxxx

Yep this is our first ... Just wish there was some knowing when she will come x I think that's the worst part :( x hubby has lots of long distance jobs too x and he can't get out of them :( so he's rushing them this week n saving the local ones for next week x so I'm hoping I go into labour in the night lol xx

Yeah I suppose that can be quite nerve-wracking as it's a bit like a ticking bomb I guess! I'm sure you'll get some little signs before it all happens. You're more likely to have a few contractions before waters break, and from what I've read/heard etc they start off mild so you won't suddenly get huge pains or anything like that... :) I think it's rare that your waters gush as well - plus it depends what position you're in. You're more likely to "gush" when asleep at night because of the position you're in, however when you're sitting up or standing up, the baby's head acts as a "plug" so you're more likely to trickle :)

It will all be ok xxx :) x

Yea see I already have myself freaked out over that bit.. So can only imagine how it feels for you as its your reality right now...
Hopefully it happens when hubby is home or only minutes from home.. But as Jess says.. There's usally plenty of time so try not to panic..

Lol! Trust me, I google the most random things. The whole "waters breaking" thing was because I was worried about my "gushing" waters breaking at work...turns out they rarely gush, and most of the time you're already in labour before your waters go and they tend to do it in hospital. :) Not all the time, my sister's waters went in the middle of the night and there was a big gush! But like I said, that's cause she was lying down and baby's head wasn't acting as a plug :).

xx

Do you know..... About a week after I got my BFP and had been to the doc etc Jonathan was sitting there with a serious looking face on him.. I knew he was thinking something.. So I asked...
He was thinking of how to protect our bed... in the event that happens!!! Thanks!!!
His argument was that its only a new bed and we spent the extra to get a really good matress n we'd have to throw it out if that happened so "can we put like an indutrial plastic sheet on it a week or so before the baby's due"
Eh.. The matress is the last thing I'll be thinking about thanks!!!!!! LOL

Moral of the story re your sister is to sleep with lotza pillows behind you so you'r almost in an upright position... LOL

Omg ... My hubby told me I have to sit on a towel in the car! So I don't ruin his seats .. They are leather it'll wipe off!! He also told me I have to sleep on aplastic sheet because we have a super king size bed so the mattress cost us a bomb!! Lol x blokes eh?! X I'm guessing he's not going to be the most help in labour lol x I'm terrified my waters will go in asda or some place in public lol x it's natural I know but how embarrassing!! I heard if you wear a maternity pad it will soak up most of the waters as it usually trickles out! I'm going to a wedding on Saturday so my guess is it'll happen then! My best friend n hubby's friend reckon Friday because its the 13th xx

Oh yea... Rob their thunder... LOL
Ha ha ha... They are all the same aren't they??!!
Yea that's my biggest fear too... I know its natural but so is farting.. I wouldn't be doing that in public!!! LOL

Oh no.. Same happened me.. Not so much a bad dream but wasn't a nice dream.. But couldn't get it out of my head n was awake then for the night.. That was at 3am.. Think i drifted off about 7 only for alarm to start screaming at 7:30! Great! I just want my bed now

This happened to me at 12 n was awake ages x then hubby's alarm went off at 4.30 :( x gonna get a few Xmas bits later then get tea have a nice long bath and an early night I think xx

Sounds perfect.. I've no bath n find if I don't have a shower as soon as I get home.. I'm too tired to bother.. So my plan is to go home.. N head straight up the stairs to the shower.. get in my pj's then worry about dinner.. I don't be hungry in the evenings anyway lately so if he's bothered he can cook himself
