Pregnancy Pregnant with baby number 2, need to stick to plan :) x

We got peepo .. Just a quick few questions if you don't mind .. Emily seems to save up her poos for sometimes more than 24 hours then does it all at once .. Is that normal? She does loads of wees so I'm not too worried x just think maybe she gets tummy ache cans also when do people use wet wipes and not cotton wool when changing bums xx
I think I read if she poo's 3 times a day, its "normal"
You can get water wipes now which are the same as using cotton wool n warm water but usually its a couple of weeks in... maybe 5 or 6 ish...

She sometimes does but other times she goes 24 hours without :/ x she seems so much happier today x I lay her on the floor infront of cbeebies for half hour this morning x she's now flat out bless her :)
Decided this morning ill be rejoining slimming world at the end of the month :) xx

I'm not going to lie - I've used a mixture already!! He is only 4 days old lol. I knew hospitals wanted cotton wool and water but I didn't know I wasn't meant to use wipes at all - thought my mum would have mentioned that lol x

How did I miss that you'd had him? Congratulations?! Name?! Weight?! How did it go?! X I used one once because she had poo everywhere but it didn't really help lol x x

I don't really know as such but I would assume as long as its not days, she's ok... Her body will be still getting used to everything.. Maybe give yer health nurse a quick ring??? Just to double check.. x

Cai am sure it'll do no harm.. As long as its not all every change.. Just that his skin is still too new for the chemicals/lotions n potions...
They say not to use any sort of soap either when bathing them for the first few weeks as their skin is too sensitive. xx

We don't have a name yet - hope today we sort it! (Hubby gets to pick and he has 2 we have been trailing!!)
Weight : 8lbs 15oz ( that's what they told us but I'm sure it worked out at 13oz !!)

It was quite a trauma - was induced (which I was happy about) due to high blood pressure (not happy about)
Long story short - I did manage to stay out if theatre (just) but baby had to have lots of tests run whilst he was still inside me :-(
I was pushing for 15 mins when 7 people 'stormed' my room and forceps were on, episiotomy done and baby out! All well luckily!!
However now I have an infection :-( I rattle I'm on so many tablets lol. Hubby is being a life saver tho!! :) as are my parents - hubby's parents would if they knew the details I'm sure but they also work where as mine have retired... We're blessed to have a happy and content little chappy!! Xxx

My health visitor only came yesterday x completely forgot to mention it x how many weeks are you now? Xx
22 weeks yesterday :) Still Wayyyyyyy behind you ladies :(
Sure you can't remember everything.. Am sure you get flustered when they're in anyway..

Ahh happy for you :) love new baby news x my friend had a 7lb 6oz baby and they told her she weighed 7lb10.5! Dunno how they get it wrong when they have a chart telling you kilos and lbs!! Lol xx

8 weeks to go!

Muffin, yes perfectly normal re pooing, some bf babies go 7 days without and that's normal too. It's to do with the fact that breastmilk doesn't leave a lot of stuff behind that needs removing! If she is wearing fine and is happy then don't worry. If you think she is uncomfy/clogged up sometimes it might be wind-we had that with Abigail. Try lying her on her back, cycling her legs and then pushing both up together (bent) towards her tummy - like doing stomach crunches-we found she really liked it once she got used to it and it saved hrs of crying as she was so sore and she trumped so much!
Re wipes you can use them whenever you like. I used them in the Hosp as found trying to remove meconium with cotton wool took ages and it got everywhere! Some babies are sensitive to them-Abigail is allergic to the Huggies ones but fine with simple, so see how you go. I tend to use reusable wipes now and water unless I'm out. You can buy them but i also cut up an old towel which works well too.
Cai congrats! Hope all is going well-sounds like you did an ace job! Can we see a pic?
X

Ah sometimes it's a pain getting water ready n by the time I've done all that she's screaming!! Not great at 2am n hubby's trying to sleep lol x she had a poo this morning n has been much happier today x so fingers crossed :) xx

Hi hun, how are you and Emily today? :) xx

We're great thanks x we went out for lunch with my sister her hubby and a friend x now were having a cuddle on the sofa watching chasing the Saturdays :) xx

8 weeks to go!

Sounds like a fab day! I've been sorting out Abigail's newborn and 0-3 month stuff to go in the loft....can't believe how much she has grown! my little girl is getting big! What's chasing the saturdays...not seen that one! X

It's a show about the Saturdays trying to make it big in America x found it on the sky on demand channels x I have some 6-9 months baby grows in Emily's wardrobe x not looking forward to those fitting x Emily's still in first size lol xx

8 weeks to go!

Ah that's why, I don't have sky! I'm not at 6-9 yet but it won't be long. Her feet are already at the end of her 3-6 baby grows. X

8 weeks to go!

We had the same problem. I ended up cutting the feet off some of the cheaper ones and putting socks over the ends! X
