Pregnancy Pregnant with baby number 2, need to stick to plan :) x

8 weeks to go!

No I know what you mean. I was quite keen to see what labour was like! Not just from a mummy point of view but as a midwife i wanted to see what it was like being on the receiving end! And tho it wasn't the easiest labour I've been part of, I would do it again in a second.
Have you bought much yet? I would avoid newborn and first size stuff, Abbie hardly wore any of her stuff and we moved straight into 0-3 cos she was 9lb 4oz! Thought of any names? X

I miss my bump and being pregnant! I can't wait to do it all again x my labour was so quick and easy except for delivering the placenta x but something tells me the next one might not be do great x x

Wow, yeah I can imagine you'd definitely want to give labour a go being a midwife! :) What an amazing job to have x Yeah bought quite a bit. All of the nursery furniture, moses basket, bedding, bottles, steriliser, all the main bits really. Going to do a big shop in December to get lots more - got a huuuuge list to follow lol x I haven't bought that many clothes for that reason - I have no idea how big/small she'll be x I'm sure I'll get lots at my baby shower too as my sister is telling me people will tend to buy clothes x Yes :) We've pretty much picked Amelia Rose for her but won't call bump that yet just in case she doesn't look like an Amelia lol x

Absolutely beautiful!! She looks so happy!! :) xxx

I'd love another easy labour! (Who wouldn't) was only saying to hubby this eve were so lucky x I wasn't ill through my pregnancy if I didn't have a bump I would never have felt pregnant x my labour was quick and easy and everything I had planned in my head x I have a very healthy and happy and good baby!
That pic was taken after she just woke up! She has a habit of being smiley and cheeky when we try and get her to sleep x it's so cute all I can't do is laugh!
Amelia rose is beautiful x we liked Amelia-Jayne or Emily-Jayne but hubby really wanted to call her Emily so Amelia ended up her middle name!!
Xxxx

Lovely names all round! I loved baby shopping...so easy to get carried away though! When it comes to packing, i would advise packing a separate bag that stays at home, as a 'in Case I have to stay in Hosp' bag. I ended up staying in a week as she needed antibiotics and hubby had to do loads of washing etc for me and find all her clothes etc.not that it was a problem, it would just have been easier if I had another bag packed with loads of clean pants, pjs, clothes for her etc. just a thought!

Muffin she is so cute! What a smile!
Xx

Muffin its apparently allot easier second time round... That's what I'm getting anyway from most people when they're telling me their labour stories...

A lady in works friend had her second baby at the weekend.. She went into hospital at 3cm at 4am on Saturday... They gave her an epidural and she slept for a 2 hours.. When she woke up she said to the midwife, I've all of a sudden got this urge to push.. So the midwife said hang on I'll have a look.. Looked.. And said "OMG I can see the head" The girl just started laughing and said "what?" Calm as anything coz she thought the MW was having a joke with her.. The MW said "No stop laughing. You need to push NOW.. The head is out" The girl started laughing more and out popped baby... 8lb bouncing girl.. Both home within hours and doing great :)

Haha oh dear .. Better plan a home birth then of that's the case I doubt I'd make it to the hospital! X I rang the Hosp for the first time at 10.30pm they told me to take 2 paracetamol x rang again at 1am got to the hospital at 1.45 examined at 2.15-2.30ish I was 8cm and had her at 5.55 lol xx

8 weeks to go!

That's the way to do it! I'm hoping mine will be like that next time! I was in labour for 4 days before I had her, drips, epidurals, ventouse-the works! but that's a different story altogether!
2nd babies are easier...for some reason though, 3rd babies tend to be awkward. After that you just need to sneeze and out they pop!

I'm hoping my first is as easy as a sneeze.. LOL

I was too scared to sneeze in labour! Me n my friend always used to joke it's too risky lol xx

I'm still scared to sneeze! Or cough, or laugh...all could result in accidents ha ha x

That's good x how old is baby now? I love your pic btw!! X

He is 31 days old today....oh literally one month old today!! Just realised that!!! :-D

Thanks for the comment on the pic! U post some lovey smiley pics! I can't wait till he is smiling as obviously as that! X
