How many cals are you comsuming per day? I'm roughly about 1200 - 1300. But aim for 1100 and allow a snack in there that takes me up to 1200 usually.

Jings! I couldn't live on that! I am about 1700 every day but it is not an exact science. However I do walk quite a bit during the day.

My internet at home has duffed up a bit. When I got in last night I had soup - 160, crackerbread - 100, a yoghurt 77 and a banana - 80. I did have band practice and a 2 mile walk to it so no worries :)

Today - Muesli - 240
Crackerbread - 100
Nutri Grain - 130
 
Sounds like your pretty active Puggso. Me too most of the time. Love the gym and when I can't go I do a home workout with weights/fit ball and skipping rope. This will be tonight. Otherwise I drag a friend out for a walk. I aim for 4/5 sessions a week.

You food is pretty good and seems like you have a good variety. I know that working to 1100 - 1200 a day is enough to keep going and I do on the weekend allow a glass of wine and maybe a day on 1600 cals. Really happy to loose 2lbs a week or 1kg (AUST) LOL!!

My theory was for a grown up male it can be up to 2500 a day. So shaving 700 off that would be good.

At the end of the day it all comes down to what you feel is right. If I went to pipe band practice with only 1200 in me for the day (remembering it is a 2 mile walk for me to get there) I don't know if I would actually have the energy to get through it!

Oh and I have never CC'd alcohol, no idea why. I just let that do it's own thing but I do try and stick to voddies and diet coke.


Anyway:

Hopefully it does show, but if not I wouldn't worry if it has only been two days. The big change will most likely be the next WI.


So got in last night (my net in the house wasn't working) and had mince and tatties - hoots mon and och aye! - then was straight out to play a gig. Did have a good few pints while out but didn't eat anything so it is all good.

So far today:

Crackerbread and cheese spread and ham - 100

Nothing else as my mum is making homemade soup so I'm saving myself for that!

Another gig in Glasgow time, this time a headlining slot...I'll be a rockstar some day :D

WI revealed a 200gm gain but not too concerned as TOM happened yesterday/today and this morning a gain of another 300gm. So in a week, next Sat going to WI and hopefully a good loss. Aiming for 1000 - 1200 cals a day and 5 days of exercise. Taking vitamins too and 2.5ltrs of water a day.

Wish me luck on my first official week of CCing. Really looking forward to going back to this. Did it many years ago and lost 7 kilos to reach my all time low of 66kg's.

The gigs I have had this weekend are on drum kit, not pipes. Picked that up when I was about 16 when a band needed a drummer. I am fairly rhythmic and can keep time easily so gave it a shot and over the years I've developed in to a competent (I'll never say amazing, as I'm not) drummer.

Good luck for the week ahead, hopefully it goes well for you :D

Yesterday all I had was homemade soup and bread then a subway in the evening before the gig. Oh and lots of Guinness and vodka...which could explain the fuzzy head today!

Looking forward to tomorrow Puggso. I have over eaten today and I'm going to bed feeling uncomfortable. I have had a long revelation on my post which explains all. However basically cannot wait to start calorie counting for good!

My drink of choice is wine expensive or cheap but it must be good quality in taste!

A good drop of guinness is hard to beat, especially one poured in an Irish bar
