Rachel's Food Diary! I WILL be a slim bride!

Well done that's fab....so jel enjoy your week xx

Do you pour your yog on the mini's?? I stopped them as I blamed my gain on too many of them.but when I think about it I was quite bad so wanna start havin them again but don't want all the milk and I never thought about puttin muller on them. Is it yum? Xx

Yeah i have vanilla or toffee mullar light and make sure i measure out 30g of the weetabix mini's (which is about 13 of them, they fit perfectly in a yoghurt pot!) its lush and means you can use your HEa on milk for something else or cheese etc which i'd much prefer!

Tea tonight was gorgeous. I had lamb shank (and cut all the fat off so only syns will have been for oil) with new potatoes and a shallot gravy and veg (red cabbage, carrot, broccoli, courgette) i stuck to diet coke but did have a few of my friends chips and 2 squares of Milka chocolate when i went home! All in all i should have hopefully only just gone over my syns for today, so shouldnt be too bad :)

Food diary for Tuesday:

Breakfast - Weetabix Mini's (Heb) ss milk (HEa)

Lunch - Tuna pasta salad (4 syns light mayo) (lettuce, celery, red onion, sweetcorn)

Tea - Diet coke chicken (chicken, passata, diet coke, pepper, mushrooms, courgette, red onion with rice)

Syns for tomorrow should be 4. I'm going to the cinema tomorrow night and going to resist taking anything to snack on while i'm there :)

Tea was gorgeous! Diet coke chicken was lovely, and i made egg fried rice (rice, fried in fry light with 2 eggs, peas, and soy sauce) and managed to resist treats at the cinema apart from a couple of marshmallows - not too bad! x

Well done for resisting sounds like a good day! X x

We went to see The Devil Inside. I was really looking forward to it cos heard it was really scary but it was rubbish! Never mind! I really wanna see The Hunger Games, wish we'd seen that instead!

Food Diary for Wednesday

Breakfast - Weetabix Mini's (HeB), vanilla mullar light

Lunch - Salad (lettuce, carrot, cucumber, red onion) with potato salad (2 syns light mayo)

Tea - Vegetarian Lasagne (courgette, aubergene, mushrooms, red onion) with light cheese on top (HEb) served with SW wedges.

Wednesday ended up being 6 syns for light mayo, bbq sauce and a teeny bit of oil!

Food Diary for Thursday

Breakfast - Grapes (i did bring a banana but it was bruised and mushy!)

Lunch - Left over lasagne from last night (but without the cheese cos i may have picked that off last night...) with some left over wedges. (passata, red onion, aubergene, mushrooms, courgette)

Tea - Chilli (extra lean mince, passata, mushrooms, kidney beans, baked beans) with rice.

I'm going to Sheffield tomorrow night and have no idea what i'm going to take in the car for my tea! I'm not sure whether to buy a ready meal and take it to my sisters but i have no idea if you can get syn free ready meals!? I dont really want any syns tomorrow so i can use them on vodka and diet coke :) anyone have any ideas for me?! xx

Food Diary for Friday was:

Breakfast - 30g Weetabix Mini's (HEb) - i just ate these on their own at my desk at work, they're gorgeous!

Lunch/Tea - We got to sheffield at about 4 and went to a Wetherspoons where i had a wholewheat superfood pasta salad. I was well proud of myself cos everyone else got burgers and chips! I did have a cider though..

I stuck to Rum/Vodka and diet coke all night (although i'm not sure the bar staff were always giving me diet but oh well) and then ruined it all by having a takeaway on the way home! I had a chicken kebab so not as bad as it could have been, but i was very drunk and it was sooo good so i didnt feel too bad!

Saturday

Breakfast - None!

Lunch - We went to a mexican/latin restaurant in Meadowhall and i had a steak and onion sandwich on ciabatta bread with curly fries (the tiniest portion ever though) and a diet coke.

Tea - Didnt have time for tea as i was at my friends engagement party so i stuck into the buffet and didnt make any healthy choices at all, mainly as there wasnt any! I only had a few vodka and diet cokes and 1 cider as i started to feel pretty rough from the night before, so resisted going into town and went home to bed instead!

Sunday

Straight back on plan today. Had a mega lie in so missed breakfast.

Lunch - Omlette (eggs, light cheese, red onion, peppers with beans0

Tea - Fish and Chips - cod fillets with SW chips and mushy peas.

I'm feeling like i'm coming down with something and have a really sore throat :( so might treat myself to an options hot chocolate with squirty cream later! I'm dreading WI tomorrow but fingers crossed as i've been good the rest of the week its at least a STS. April is going to be a terrible month for weight loss, i've had this weekend of drinking, this week its my sisters 21st birthday so eating out on Wednesday and its her party on Thursday and Saturday night i'm at a Hen Do! This week is not going to be good for SW!

Hope everyone has had a good weekend xx

Weigh in today and i've STS! So please with that considering i've been off plan Friday and Saturday pretty much! Woohoo :)

Food Diary for Monday

Breakfast - I'm not very well so i didnt feel like eating this morning, my breakfast was a Beechams cold and flu drink! :(

Snack - 3 babybel (HEa)

Lunch - Jacket potato with baked beans - i did take a chicken salad to work but really didnt feel like it at all.

Snack - Sugar Free Jelly (0.5 syns)

Tea - Chilli (extra lean mince, passata, baked beans, kidney beans, red onion, garlic) served with SW wedges and some reduced fat sour cream and chive dip (4 syns)

I've ended up coming home from work because i felt so ill, so i'm now tucked up in bed about to watch desperate housewives! Really hoping i feel better tomorrow.

Well done on STS, it's such a relief when you know you've been off plan for a bit!

Thanks girls :) still feeling rubbish today so got the day off work! After having a lie in and having some breakfast i'm feeling a little bit better though so fingers crossed i'll be back at work tomorrow!

Food Diary for tuesday

Breakfast - 2 slices WM bread (HEb), lurpack lightest butter (3 syns) and 250ml ss milk (HEa)

Lunch - Jacket potato, tuna, sweetcorn, red onion, mayo (4 syns)

Tea - Prawns with spaghetti in a spicy tomato sauce (passata, red onion, garlic, chilli's, paprika)

Tomorrow its my sisters 21st birthday so her and her boyfriend are coming over and i'm cooking tea for them! I'm going off SW plan slightly to use oil to cook with but everything else apart from the oil will be syn free/low syn so i'm hoping it wont affect me too much - my thinking is it will undoubtedly be less syns than eating out! I'm thinking about doing roast lamb with roast potatoes, veg and gravy but we'll see!

Mmm tea sounds delish! Glad ur starting to feel better. And roast lamb for tomorrow sounds lovely ur very good doing a full on roast, I have a loooong way to go with my cooking skills! X x

Thanks :) i love cooking and eating out and its the thing i hate the most about having to change my eating habits. I do like finding new SW recipes and adapting the recipes i love cooking to be SW friendly but (and i know i shouldnt admit it...) they never taste quite as good!

I've decided what i'm cooking tomorrow now and OH has just got back from tesco with all of our ingredients - very excited so i'll do my food diary now!

Food Diary for Wednesday

Breakast - Weetabix Mini's (Heb)

Lunch - Chicken Salad (lettuce, tomato, red onion, cucumber)

Tea - Roasted leg of lamb with garlic and rosemary, with baby onions and potatoes roasted in the same pan served with minted green beans and garden peas, served with a white wine and lamb reduction. I always cook lamb with red wine but this recipe says white, and its a Michel Roux Jnr recipe so i'm going to trust it! I'm also making a homemade lemon drizzle cake with vanilla frosting for my sisters birthday cake. None of that is SW friendly AT ALL but i'm going to cut the fat off my lamb (as i would do anyway,i dont like fatty meat!) and i wont be having a huge slice of cake, so its not too bad. If its nice, its definitely a recipe i can adapt to be SW friendly, its just using the lamb juices to cook the roast potatoes in and using it with the wine make the reduction thats synful! xx

Mmmm I absolutely love lemon drizzle cake! I was looking forward to a nice slice of my SW chocolate cake later but I don't think it is going to beat your lemon drizzle cake at all! Now I'm thinking about carrot cake! or bavarian slices... or anything sweet! yum! You haven't eaten much today? Or is it just me with my greedy ways! I eat a lot more than most people on here ''/ Think I know why I'm here in the first place ;)

xxx

I've had 3 babybels as a HEa today as well, and some grapes and melon :) so i've eaten more than it looks on my food diary! I'm really excited for my tea and lemon drizzle cake :) xx

Ahh hope that ur dinner is going well all sounds mega lush and wish someone would cook all that up for me :) x x

Happy Easter Rachel! Hope ur having a great weekend and remember ur wedding dress when faced with all the easter naughty things! X x x
