lol i wish i were in competition with her!! she only has 20lb to lose in total but just cant keep to SW, luckily her bmi is 27 so she can start the diet. I know what you mean though but i think we will help each other through it... i like the idea of LL cos of the class and that but right now im gonna struggle finding the £35 a week... i am going tomorrow arvo and will start monday ... just to think by Christmas i could be close to being @ target how exciting...are you doing any excercise im worried about my skin think i will walk abit more and also start swimming a few times a week ...

it took around 3 days to stop feeling hungry (and it was more than bareable) infact i liked the feeling, it felt like i was doing something about my problem. I got really bad headaches for the first week, so I took plenty of paracetamol!

i know what you mean with that - i was dreading starting CS but i haven't felt hungry once on it...i know i'm only on day 5, but even on the 1st 3 days, which they said would be the hardest i was full and not having any kind of craving...which i guess just goes to show how messed up my body is with carbs. and i hope to correct it when i go back to regular eating.

i've had no side effects at all...was dreading the headaches, but haven't even had them. i feel bright and alert and pretty healthy for once :)

I go to aqua fit once a week and walk the dog, she said that exercise will tone rather than speed up weight loss! If i only had 20lb to lose i wouldnt be taking such drastic action lol! are you planning on sticking with CD until target, or just to give you a boost start?

how long are you doing CS for MK? How much does it cost? what sort of meal are you having? am i right in thinking you have a meal for tea? x

Okay - here we go. I hope I have sorted out all of the wrinkles. Unfortunately I still have the one where the graphs seem to just fall off the end of the planet when it is plotting for a range that is only partially filled with data. The only way I have found so far is to change the range plotted by the chart. If anyone really wants to know how to do that, I can explain it :)

So, this version:

  • Splits the graphs from the front sheet onto their own sheets. The front page was getting too huge, so I have split it so that the figures are on a page on their own, and each graph has a page of its own. There are a number of sheets now:
    • Weight Loss Record
    • Weight Loss Chart
    • BMI Chart (New)
    • BMR Chart (New)
    • Measurements Record (New)
    • Measurements Chart (New)
  • The BMR calculation has seen the need for an additional field to be added to the front sheet, Date Of Birth. The spreadsheet uses this to work out your age. Naturally the field validates that you are putting in a valid date .... but does not enforce a sensible date. I do not know what it will do if you enter 01-Jan-2011 for example. :)
  • The BMR calculation is only an estimate based on a formula that I found. It is (allegedly) one of the better ones, though it does not take account of "Lean Body Mass" and its capability of burning extra calories. So, remember, this is only a guesstimate:)
  • All the sheets are protected as before, but only to prevent mishaps. You can just unprotect as before.
  • The measurements sheet is a first attempt. Please send me feedback (either here or via PM) if you want things changed, added, etc etc. Just the way you all did for the different evolutions of the main sheet.
The new sheet is in the attachment. Hope you like it!!

you can ignore all the gumf this is the latest chart he has done...
rainbow it will be great for you to plot in your losses it even gives you a goal date its fab cant wait to have some losses to report lol...
 
Hey - yeah Ive found that link somewhere else on here and have inputting my details, id recomend it to people, its very interesting.
So, not got much planned for today, got some school work that i need to do, so will do that, oh and then we need to go to the tip and take some hedge cuttings. Had a try on this morning and lots of clothes that wouldnt fit a few weeks ago now fit, and even better quite a few that did fit are now too big! bit annoying lol! Need a pair of jeans that fit me, good job its been warm recently, been wearing cropped jeans as i still have 4 pairs that fit me, and when its rainy ive been wearing cropped jeans and knee boots! oh the trials and tribulations of weight loss ey! not that Im complaining! XXX
 
I haven't been doing much today wishing away the hours until 4.30 lol.
Having my last supper so to speak tonight think its gonna be so weird not eating but if you can do it so can i lol.
i havent weighed myself for over a week i know i've put on weight cos i haven't been on any plan and have really just ate whatever i wanted.... cant wait to come home tonight and plot my new spreadsheet...lol! enjoy the rest of your sunday xxx
 
Im really excited for you - so is tomor your start day then? i remember waking up feeling so excited bout starting! have you thought bout which flavours you might like? they say try all the ones you think you might like x
 
hiya im back gosh i was a long time there lots of info and advice it went really well!
had to buy 8 days worth of stuff as not back till a week tomorrow ...
i chose 8 porridge's, 5 choc sachets, 3 tetra cartons and 8 soups spicy tomato ... me and my friend are soooo excited i cant wait to wake up in the morning already thinking of 1st wi...
o yea and at that i put on 5lb! thats a weeks worth of eating whatever i wanted bit gutted bout it but here's to this week!!
i havent come home and gone on the scales i dont know what i am on my home ones and i think i prefer it that way so i'll get a surprise next week... how many shakes do you have a day, are the flavours the same on LL?

You have 4 a day on LL, they have vanilla, banana, strawberry, raspberry, choc shakes, thai chilly, chicken, tomato, veg soup, peanut, cranberry, lemon, toffee (some more i cant remember) bars, and porridge! so a good selection, but I have 3 choc shakes and a peanut bar everyday, thats what Im happy with! Cant wait for your weigh in, good luck, keep us informed on how you're getting on xxx

i'm doing CS until i go on holiday a week on friday. will eat whatever i like on holiday. if i have a great loss with CS before my hols i will try and do CS again when i get home. they recommend it for a max of 8 weeks.

if i get a good loss i will go to SW to lose the rest and dabble with CS here and there.

Yeah you get to eat dinner every night, which is nice :)
 
Hey I think I can join this camp for a week! I am supporting my friend who is having a GB fitted on the 2nd and I am doing the pre-op doet with her. All we are allowed is low fat yogurt, 500ml fruit juice, water/SF squash, tea, coffee, fruit teas. It's going to be tough, kinda like a VLCD I'm guessing! I don't even know how I'm going to last a week so I really take my hat off to you guys (well I would if I was wearing one!) for doing this long term!
 
Hey you how are you? When is your next WI? Been up to much?

Got my first day under my belt lol. It was extremely difficult i was tired hungry fed up of drinking but i got through it. I've woken up this morning actually feeling better! I drank over 3L yesterday plan to do the same today... although its so difficult fitting all this water in with going to work and that. Not looking forward to work tomorrow i cant keep nipping to the loo every 5 mins like i was yesterday...

Going out for the day today so will see how i get on...
Gotta test myself in a min gotta go and do a weekly shop for family all these lovely foods that cant pass my lips, although the bill should be a lot cheaper with me not eating lol
