Raudi's ramblings - www.fatfactor.com

It's never to late to start ;)

I'll be going for another run once the hottest part of the day is gone......

How long have you been running for raudi? I've heard it's quite addictive once you start. I would love to do it but I'd be so embarrassed running around here for fear of bumping into people I know, which would be highly likely!
Good on you!

News

Believe me it is indeed addictive, have been out again tonight and done 8.5k (just over 5 miles) over the park with my running partner... I feel so alive once i have been (ok think i'm going doo lally).... my groin strain is loads better and the sexy (rofl) compression shorts really help.. And believe me noone will take a blind bit of notice of you, me and my 17 stone receive comments but only well done keep going from other runners.....

I have 2 10k's and a 5k coming up and ................

deep breath.......

I have applied for a place in next years Marathon

it is something i have always wanted to do and did train for it about 7 years ago but my pelvis had not recovered from the problems carrying DD..So had to pull out.....

I am starting my official training in a couple of weeks when i can run 4m continous with out stopping, I will find out if i am picked out the ballot on 30th November but as a back up have applied for a charity place..... I am also going to get a full medical.... for my own piece of mind.

JOB News - Officialy offered the job after meeting HR at lunch today and will have contract with me tomorrow :). I then have to resign which i am not looking forward too at all as i am not sure how my boss is going to react....

then

I'm off to Norfolk on saturday for a week!!!!

Looks like i'm gonna be busy!!!!

The Marathon, wow I am impressed, good for you!
Well done on the job, I hate having to resign from jobs as well!
Where are you going in Norfolk? I love Norfolk and go most years.
xx

Well i resigned today, didnt get any response except 'oh are you' from my boss........ HR was cool and knew it was on the cards as i was so quiet.

Yeah not sure if i have lost the plot totally putting in for the marathon........

At least you can relax now you've resigned, nice boss eh
As for the marathon, you've not lost the plot at all, you're doing so well!
xx

Congrats on the job raudi... great news :)

Im totally in awe of the running you do!!

WI result 1/2lb off. I'm not happy and am questioning on paying each week when i can do at home, i may have lost a stone but that was months ago i've been stuff at the same weight give or take a lb for the past 2 months.... Sorry for being so negative but i have been so good followed it religiously and have done lots of exercise and nothing

Aww Raudi it's horrible when you've stuck to it religiously and exercised and not lost what you'd hoped.
I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination but would the running be building your muscles up so although you may be taking shape you're not losing as quick, just a thought but as I said I know nothing!
Sending hugs your way :hug99:, 0.5lb is 0.5lb, better than a poke in the eye but I can understand your disappointment when you've been working so hard at it.
Just had another thought, do you use your bonus points? If you're not then perhaps you're not eating enough as it can work the other way sometimes.
:hug99:
xx

thanks ladies!

I'm following it to the 'T' leader said i don't have to eat the bonus points if i dont want to... have tried both ways and makes no difference :(

Has put me in a right grumpy mood!!

All the weight i lost was back when i first started......................

Just stick with it, you will see the difference.
Have you spoke to your leader about it? What did she say? Perhaps take your tracker in and let her have a look.
Chin up love, you'll do it :hug99:
xx

Or have you tried the Core plan? Just another thought :)
