Re-starting for the final time, this is it!!!!

aw thanks girls, and i promise not to disappear this time :)

I am sooo hungry at the moment, which is making it really hard. I am currently having my depression/anxiety tablets changed as i started having panic attacks all the time again and was feeling really down. Doc diagnosed me with panic disorder. Thing is the new tablets make you hungry argh so not what i need!! Apparently they have been used for people with anorexia, so they are kind of going against me. I was on another forum talking about it, and some girls put on 3 stone with them. But i am not going to give in, i will fight against these tablets :pcwhack: lol. I am hoping these are just short term side effects and will go after a few weeks!!

So day 4 hasnt been too bad, although i have eaten too much bread i think, oops, well i dont think i know lol!! Never mind at least its in the rules!! Going to stay away from the sweets tonight, well try to anyway :)
 
Oh Rach poor you! I know this sounds silly but would something like Sw work well with those tabs you could feast your heart out on fruit n veggies and not have to worry?! Just a thought xx
 
I am not sure of the info for sw, there is no classed around here either. I suppose i could look up online and see what i could find out.

Trying to decide what to have for my breakfast this morning, hmmm maybe some turkey rashers, my fave since i cant have a proper bacon butty!!

I can feel this extra weight on my joints again which isnt good, i think thats what finally slapped me across the face and got back into action lol.

Confession time :eek: i am so very embarrassed to admit this but i am going to, i am heavier now than when i first started this last year :cry:but funnily enough i can still fit into some of the clothes i was wearing back then which i cant understand, my they grew with me lol. This has been so hard for me to admit, i am so ashamed of myself that i let this happen, how could i do this to myself :cry:
 
We're here for u, it is hard when u go backwards. Forgive yourself, draw a line under it, move on! You have made the 1st step admitting it, and coming back on here :)

Alot of us have put weight back on, and struggled without the xen tablets, in reality the tablets don't do much except make u aware of what your eating, how your eating and when your eating. Getting u to change your eating habits and make better choices. For me at least :)

I decided to reduce/ remove the process carbs like white bread, and most other bread items, instead I buy gluten free bread and maybe have once/ twice a week. I have not eaten pasta for a mth and don't miss it - I have the spag Bol mix over 2 cups veg (frozen is easiest for me), the same with rice, have not had much (maybe odd mouthful) potatoes I might have once or twice a week, but a small portion. And I avoid all the low fat snack items as they seem to be high in sugars which make me bloat!

Breakfast I have choc Cheerios - as I like them and they taste nice and are meant to be made with whole grains ;) trying to wean myself off them lol to a low sugar muesli

But no one is perfect and we all like the things are not good for us and sometimes choose to eat those items, be honest with yourself record it in MFP and forgive yourself and make better choices next time :)

I know you will do great!!
 
The main thing tho hun is that you've realised it and are now making the changes. we're all here for you hun. Im starting sw online tomorrow, no classes round here either but the plan is easy to follow once you get the hang of the rules.

any plans for the weekend xxx

I know you can do this however much you've gained. You and your photos were the inspiration for so many of us on here. You acheived so much. Actually Kirsty idea of slimming world while you're on the tablets is a good one. You can get online membership if required

I just think there's then no limitation you can eat till its coming outta your ears lol!!!! Especially if those tablets ate gonna increase your hunger! Xx
 
Thanks girls, this is what i missed your friendly and encouraging words. Feeling really good in myself today, i swear my tummy is flatter than it was :) dont see how but i am sticking with it as its makes me feel great!!

I was reading an article recently what a doctor wrote and she said not to give up bread (white or any other) apparently its an important part of our diet. BUt i have to admit i do generally feel better with out it. So i guess we just have to listen to our bodies!! I do find it hard to cut down on bread, as its my fave food item lol well one of them anyway!!

No plans for the weekend PR, just the usual, running round after the kids and shouting :D

I'm not to bad, I had gained a bit of weight too, but nearly back to what I was.. Got back on the xen last week... I also have to echo Kirsty and the suggestion of slimming world, I've been doing it for a few months now :)

I have lots of friends who do slimming world, my only problem with it is that it teaches me nothing about portion sizes & I am a pig, you tell me I can eat as much pasta as I like on a green day & I will to the point I feel sick & I wasn't losing. I find calorie counting is the most successful thing for me but may be worth trying something new Rach honey x
 
I think some people take the eat sad much as you can quite literally.. Shud be eat until satisfied... I find this works for me better than cc'ing I don't feel like I am dieting or restricted ... :)

When I first ever did it I was exactly the same!!! I tend to just eat as much veg and fruit but keep to normal size portions for everything else, thing is if it's on my plate I will eat it :)

But it works extremely well for a lot of people. Me one of them for a long time. But given the tablets you're on rach I think it's a brill option and the online option is good. Or buy a set of books from eBay
