Re: Kids, my 2 are 15 and 16. My boy (15) started attitude a lot earlier than my girl (16) he thinks he know it all. We don't have so much of the attitude now just cheekiness. My 16 year old girl started late in terms of teen age attitude. We've never really had attitude from her but moodiness and argumentativeness (if thats a word...lol). I think we've been quite lucky. Hope things improve for you.

Yes my boy thinks he knows everything, must be a boy thing. His dad is the same. (In fact all his dads family are that way) drives me crazy.
 
My older boy has been a stroppy teen since he was about 9, he's now 15 and slowly coming out of it, or maybe I'm dealing with it better? My younger boy is 11 and shows no signs of being stroppy at all, he swears he's never going to be grumpy, watch this space!!
 
It's the bad language that bothers me the most. I can't stand it.

Breakfast was buckwheat porridge with the usual. Chromium, evening primrose, acai and cranberry tablets taken.

Off to see my psychologist today. Don't know how much longer I can keep going at €80 a session.
 
I can't stand bad language either but my children know this and know it's one of the things to which MAJOR sanctions apply. Like a month without screen time. So they have never tried it with me. I am very strict with them though and have to try and give them a bit of leeway sometimes, but on things I don't mind so much about! :D

Oh dear, I'm embarrassed to say that my daughter tells ME off for bad language. :O Strangely enough, she's the only person I swear at really, which gives some indication of how much she can wind me up! The other week she actually gave me a list of what words I can and can't use around her (the one beginning with sh is ok, but the one starting with f isn't, apparently!). ;) xx

Lol Tracy, I am no angel I do swear sometimes but I still don't expect to hear it from a child. I try not to use too much bad language around the kids. But everyone here swears its like its part of the language or something. Not saying I agree with it because I don't.

Lol, I am naughty sometimes, I must admit, but on occasion it feels like a choice between saying a rude word or throttling her! I have tried to impress on her that there's a time and place for expletives, as I think she's old enough to understand that, and that whilst I may relax my language under stress at home, I certainly wouldn't do it at work or out in public, and I expect her to act the same. I hate it when people swear all the time, it just betrays a lack of linguistic ability, but no, I'm definitely no angel either! ;) xx

I know what you mean sometimes you just have to swear lol. Swear and count to ten or a hundred in some cases. I definitely hate hearing it out on the streets, sounds foul.
 
6lb gone this week although mfp is only showing 3lb as I didn't put my big gain on there. Going to aim for 4lb next week.

Got a bbq tonight at my brother in laws. Won't be drinking so most calories will be from food :eek: lol but I will try not to go mad. Although I don't normally as I hate others seeing me eat.
