I should be getting out more often and walk as I used to. Unfortunately, too many tasks to carry out during the day and by the time I realise and finish is too late to go out. One of these days, I will do it again.

B - Ricotta, plum, cherry tomatoes, blueberries with WM toast
L - Onion, bacon, pepper scrambled with cheese and salad (leaves, tom, cue, beetroot, salad sauce)
D - Aubergine curry, FF yogurt, pitta
S - Cherries, 1 boiled sweet, plums
F - 6 Black tea
E -

Stepped on the scales and I am 3 lbs up. What is going on. It is so frustrating.

Last week, in an effort to boost the weight loss, I took a couple of days off plan and then ate proper meals without junk food for the rest of the week. Well it clearly it is not working, so I need to rethink my plan.

There has been a lot going on in the past 4 months, but I have always tried to stay on plan.

I am going to take a day, going through my diary and see where I have fallen off.

It might be better for me to go back to the basic for a couple weeks but eat 3 proper meals a day and avoid any junk food.

You've don awesome @Ravenous! You've lost over 5st! I think you deserve a massive pat on the back. You must feel so different now compared to when you started. Do you need the number on the scales to be a lb and a half lower? Will it make your life complete?

For what it's worth, you've done amazing. You have always been and will always be a huge inspiration for me. I think you're perfect, just as you are.

Thank you. You are so kind.
Yes I feel good and alive again. After I wrote that I received a dress in the post size 12 (a bit stretchy) and fit perfectly - used to be size 22/24.
I think psychologically, I have to get to my target - I need to achieve my goal and I will - I feel better for it.
Thank you for your support.

Congratulations on being in a size 12 and yr inspirational shedding. I am aiming at size14-16, and then will reassess. I have not been a size 12 in over 40 years!

Thank you.
You will get there - it just takes time and patience.
This morning, I started with a positive and determined attitude so hoping to get to my final goal soon - This is the 3rd time, I have lowered my goal and happily stick to this last one as I don't want my skin to be too saggy.
Good luck and keep in touch.
We are all here to help each other - you can see that I have had a lot of support and happy to help others too.
have a great day.

Ravenous I am looking at your stats. I know psychologically it is important to you to get to your goal but your numbers are showing 2 things. Firstly your BMI is now perfect, you are at your bodies ideal weight. And secondly you have lost over a third of your body weight. I remember watching a weight loss show years ago, probably the Biggest Loser (I loved that programme ) , I don't remember which country it was. Anyway, the doctor on it said that it is possible to lose up to 30% percent of your body weight through exercise and diet. That no matter what your starting weight it is almost impossible to lose above the 30%. You've done it, you've already broken that 30% which is amazing so well done

Thank you very much for taking the time to analyse my stats and your encouragement. I really appreciate your support.

I am grateful to have lost a lot of weight and stayed around the same weight for a few months - probably indicates that I am at my target. However, as you mentioned it is psychological that I have set myself that target, I have to achieve it.

My main reason for wanting to lose more is that every time, I eat or drink, it seems my stomach bloats and my skin becomes too tight for my body (I don't know how to describe it). I thought if I lose a few more lbs then my skin might feel at ease.

Now I have got to a point that I eat normally but in smaller portions. However, there are times that I try to eat more (my eyes see bigger than my stomach) and have to pace myself to eat so not to upset my stomach - this morning is a prime example: I thought to have 2 slices of toast with cottage cheese and fruits,. After the first slice I could not eat any more (I was still hungry but my stomach did not want it) so I left it and will nibble on it during the morning. A year ago, I would have wolfed that down and more without battering an eyelid. Amazing how our body changes.

Luckily, I managed to lose 2 lbs this week and hopefully, can continue and lose the last 1.5 lbs to get there. I realised that I was preferring crisps, dried fruits and biscuits to a proper meal, so I cut all those out for the time being - I will incorporate them in my meal.

I am going to review my eating and try to eat more often but smaller portions (not eat too much in one sitting) and see if it helps my stomach.

How are you doing.

I maybe jumping the gun here Ravenous. But do you have a gluten intolerance that can cause bloating and discomfort. Maybe you could do a little experiment to see if you get rid of bloating by cutting out gluten.

I am starting to feel the same I reduced my portions and what I could have eaten 6 month ago would be way too much for me. Eating little and often can help if you can't tackle actual meals

Oh I never thought of that. Thank you. I will do a little experiment and see what results I get.
