Red/Green days :-) Mission Skinny Bridesmaid!

Feeling positive from yesterday after having a good day! :D

Plan of action today....
b weeatbix with ss milk
l sw chips with eggs
d eggs and beans mmm
snacks bananas x2 and half a melon
water

Had a bit of a word to myself as I've been super down about my gain over the past month and a half and keep thinking about where I could've been at this point! I know there is much point on dwelling on it but it's really hard not to! I'm back on track though really feel I am this time and ready to keep going and get down to my goal weight ultimately for June but October is when I'm going to Florida so by then at least!

Don't beat yourself up chick (I know it's hard!!) your day looks fab!! Making me hungry!

Yip what we both like! I'm fine though feeling good about losing weight again and that in it self is just brilliant because I really thought I was going back to my old eating habits! Can't believe how easy it was for all the weight to go back on too! Even with exercising during it! My biggest craving which is just the worst is takeaways! Dominos, Chinese or korma with nan! It's just so quick and easy but the feeling after eating them is just disgust and guilt! Not worth it after. Everytime my tummy has been really dodgy after eating them. Since I've been back on my diet my tum doesn't feel as dodge anymore, it was probably used to healthy food and didn't like all the junk I was eating and was saying so! Anyway I'm rambling here!

Off work this week and next, today because my girl is off school unwell so off work today and next week I'm off the whole week on holiday! Love being off work it's making realise I'm not completely happy there. Everyone has times when they feel unhappy in work though so I'm sure it's just a phase!

Didnt end end up having eggs with my chips couldn't really be bothered making them but having them for tea so tonight is fine!

Takeaway is my enemy too, when you just want to curl on the sofa with something you haven't had to cook! But the guilt def isn't worth it!

Aw I hope she feels better soon!

Where do you work? I know what you mean, I'm really not enjoying my job at the moment - makes you feel like there's got to me to life than this! Weekends go way to quick!

X

They just are so yum! but you are right not worth it at all!

Work in a nursery only three days so really shouldn't complain and it is probably the best place I have worked in though so I'm sure the feeling will pass! What about you chick? They so do, my kids go every second weekend to their dads and they go even faster! I'm lucky though Wednesday and Thursday are my days off during the week so I call it my midweek weekend!

Kayleigh and me are both enjoying a sofa day and will go get Kieran from school in a couple of hours!

I work in an office - selling veterinary lab equipment (like the big diagnostics analysers) Monday to Friday, so at least it's a set routine, but just feels like throwing my life away sitting on my bum (half the reason I'm big- my metabolism is rubbish!)

Another good day yesterday yahoo! Really feeling like I'm back in the zone now! Although I'm scared about weigh in Tom if I have lost a pound I know I will be gutted by that! Excited at the same time! It feels weird starting from the start and aiming for the club 10 again which I need to get to 14st 2lb this time, but I know I have lost weight before it doesn't really matter where I start, it's all for the same result and to be Slim Gill instead of Fatty Gill! Haha! I don't actually think I'm too bad at the moment but really that's because I remember the feeling when I was 18 and a half stone. I know I will never be that weight again!

So far.... Weetabix x2 heb and ss milk hea. Having some scrambled eggs and beans, actually starving this morning!
For dinner I'm having Linda mc sausages the red onion and rosemary (free) with fried onions and mushrooms!

Orginally bought the onions and mushrooms for making a curry sauce which I might still make instead but that's the plan so far! Got pineapple lollies too for snacking in.

Always think that even though you're up a bit, you're still a hell of a long way from where you started and that's fantastic! Also you know you've got there before, so you know 100% you can get there again!

I keep meaning to try the Linda Mc sausages!

They are ok not as good as normal sausages obviously but an ok substitute! I'm devasted that chocolate weetabix have syn value! I'm so sure I read that they were heb and they are but you are to add 2 syns each! Wahhh! Although I've been eating them throughout my diet and they didn't stop me losing weight but still! I'm so hungry today! Needing something already! So I'm making some chips and gonna fry the onions and mushrooms and that should keep me going until dinner tonight! Which I'm going to poach two eggs and have some beans so just a light tea because I'm eating loads! Although I do know that you can egg as much free food as you like so should stop feeling guilty!

I always find that a bit odd, if you've been eating them before and still losing - they've recently changed the Syn value of chow mein from 6 to 16! But if I've been eating it and losing weight with other syns...does it matter?!

I'm feeling hungry too today, must be one of those days! don't feel bad, eat if you're hungry, it's free for a reason :)

Thanks Hun you are right! Ended up making the curry sauce so had that with some chips! I'm really full now which is fab! Gonna save the rest for Tom and have it with quorn chicken pieces and some rice for tea!

That is really annoying! But like you say if you have lost weight eating it can't be that bad and harmful to the diet! Do you and the OH have anything nice planned for valentines day? Xx

Sounds yummy! :)

Nothing interesting I'm afraid, the in-laws normally watch the dogs for us if we're doing anything but they're on holiday so probably just a quiet night in with the fur-babies - OH wants to cook...so I might have to save some syns or tell him strictly what's allowed! Do you have any nice plans?

An evening in is just the best though esp when he will do the cooking! I have the kiddies this weekend so we will probably just chill in the house, they going to their dads on thurs night and back after I finsish work so it will be nice to have some peace in Thursday night! We might decorate some biscuits or something, not fussed about being around that!

Aw aw curry was lovely! Starting to get hungry again! Not sure what's wrong with me today!!

Eaaaaaat - your body is probably hungry for a reason, and at least you can fill it full of healthy bits! :)

Hi Gilly here to sub :D ! Well done on your weightloss journey so far, you are doing fab. I see like me you also had a gain after losing. Mine was 1 stone , I'm only half done another half stone to go and I will be back to where I was last year . I mainly do green days, I love quorn too and I agree it's so yummy in curry's :p. Have you tried the SW style Korma curry using muller coconut yogurt, it's delicious and only 1 syn, I use quorn chicken pieces, it's so yum with rice . Hope your having a great week hun :) .

Kay xx

Hey Kay thanks for stopping by :D No haven't tried that absolutely love chicken korma! How do you make it? It's really hard to not be disapointed about gaining and having to restart but I suppose it's better than not getting back on track at all! Well done for getting back on it too :) X

Hi Gilly :) it's great we're both back on it and we will get there :p. Here is the recipe for the SW Korma Curry, its quick to make and delicious.

Chicken Korma Curry

1 syn per portion

IMG_0730.jpg here's one I made earlier :D

Fry x4 chicken fillets (cut into cube size pieces - or u can use quorn chicken pieces like I did) with fry light in a pan
add mushrooms, onions and garlic, cook for 3-4 mins,
sprinkle 2 chicken oxo cubes and 2 curry oxo cubes in the pan (if you can't get hold of the curry oxo like me u can use 1 tbsp of curry powder)
now add 2 muller light greek style coconut yoghurts and 100mls of natural ff yogurt,
simmer for 10 mins, and then turn off the heat.

Your chicken korma is now ready to eat ! Serve with rice , its gorgeous. :)
