That's amazing Red!!! Well done- sorry I'm a bit slow off the mark! It's been a rollercoaster of emotions past couple of days! Back in Swansea now and so much easier doing Minimins from home PC than from mobile phone!! Great news, you must be so proud of yourself!!X

Sounds like you are doing fab. I love the occasional red or green day.

Don't forget you can have 2 HEa's and 2 HEb's on red or green days.

I find that really helps if I fancy cereal for breakfast say and some bread later on.

Well done on your weight loss.

I know you've had a difficult few days :hug99: so thank you for coming on and saying that. I am pleased, I want it to go faster but then I am taking the scenic route somewhat . All losses are good, just a bit at a time.

oooh I love Jazz apples, those and pink ladys are my favs at the moment. Nice and crunchy and juicy. Me and my son fight for them though, so apples dont last very long in this house lol.

Luckily he doesnt like pears, so the juicy Red pears are all mine :p

Yes the Jazz apples are gorgeous. Unfortunately they are super-expensive (as apples go) here so they were a bit of a treat to myself since OH was having wine and I am abstaining! I don't really get on with pears and I like most fruit but the skin on pears bothers me a bit. I don't mind them peeled. Must be a textural thing.

Here is today's food diary:

Saturday February 26th – Easy Extra
Breakfast black coffee, Jazz apple

Lunch – Sweet potato and lentil soup. Smoked salmon omelette (one Laughing Cow Light), tomato and spinach salad, 1 Pagen Krisproll with Laughing Cow Light - banana

Tea –Slow cooked chicken breast, with leeks mushroom, carrots with a tarragon and fromage frais sauce served with a jacket potato and broccoli and mangetout. - Shape Zero yoghurt

Snacks Highlights drink (2 syns), Kit-Kat (5.5 syns)

Syns – 7.5

HexA – Laughing cow Light
HexB Pagen Krisprolls

Making an effort once more to have less Alpen Lights - although, as treats go I guess they aren't the worst thing I could have but some different HexB's are a good idea.

Hmm yes I know what you mean about pear skin actually!

Hi hun, food looking AMAZING!! I sometimes peel pears and have some chopped on top of porridge-it's gorgeous!! (will probably go through a phase of it again once I've got my eggs and smoked salmon obsession out of my system!!)

Hello stranger - lovely to see you :D

Today I visited my (very) pregnant friend. Pregnant with her 4th! Due any time soon, exciting. Anyway, she gave me a load of old Slimming World magazines. Obviously no Easy Extra in them but I'm sure the recipes can be adapted. Also she loaned me some SW cook books, again no Easy Extra but I'm really pleased to have all these recipes to look through. I am mildly obsessed with reading recipes and have an incredible amount of cook books. So I'll be having a look through all those this week.

Here is today's food:

Breakfast– Jazz apple, banana, black coffee

Hi Red,
wondered who your favourite cook books are by to SW tweak, I used to be a big Nigel Slater fan - partly why I'm in this predicament! I've been browsing my Bill Grangers....and will make a few of the recipes if I can find the ingredients....

Ok I've got Smoked haddock in the fridge for tea tonight. Spiced haddock with feta cheese salad sounds yum. Will have to see if I can grab some feta on the way home :D

Where do you get the Pagen Krisprolls from? They sound really nice, but I have a nasty feeling this is going the be another thing to add to my 'List of Things That Aren't Available in This Bloody Country' :D xx
