Sandra's maintenance diary.....

Trying:D I only had 18 calories left and I knew that they'd still be there tomorrow/today...one red devil is about 15 minutes on the treadmill but soooooo worth it!
 
Really glad interview went well .. And doubly glad the Jean shopping did too! I'd def be wearing size label on the outside!!! Thinks it fab u're managing so much exercise - way to go! Treadmilling away them red devils lol
 
Glad interview went well! Nothing beats bangers and mash and a bit of gravy! It is my comfort food!
Glad your enjoying the gym as well.
 
Thx realised this morning though that I could've had another devil as I'd counted two bananas for brekkie when in fact I'd only had one! They're screaming at me from the coffee table......

Been cycling in the cold, my ears were freezing and I probably only did about 6 miles, felt good though and can have devils tonight:D

I do wonder if I got down another half a stone or so if I could get into a 10..... Is that a bit silly at my age? It's just that a 12 feels fantastic so what might it feel like to be a 10?
 
What is wrong with you being a 10?! There is a lady that works opposite me is a bit older and has an amazing figure and looks fab! There is nothing wrong with it! Enjoy it hun!
 
It's just everyone says that your face looks older when you're thinner:( some of my tops are a size small so I guess I'm not that far away.......
 
Nothing wrong with aiming for it as long as it doesn't become obsessive or anything. I only say that because I really believe that it was me obsessing over getting to a 'magic' figure of 8st 13lbs when I was 9st 2lbs (once a very long time ago) that actually made me end up at 15st 9lbs because I just couldn't do it.
NOW it's easy to see that it was ridiculous to even try - far too light for me even at the 9st 2lbs as everyone was telling me but you always think 'what do they know' or 'they're just jealous' when you're in the middle of it.
But I don't see why you shouldn't go for it if you really want to :) x
 
You are so right Jan, obsessing is so unhealthy.....

Today's food

B fruit n fibre and milk
L salad and garlic and parsley prawns, Muller light yogurt
Snack kitkat
D home-made fish pie (made loads yesterday for the freezer) broccoli
Hot choc and 2 red devils :D

Total 1384 calories 1174 net.....went out on my bike this afternoon, it was bloody freezing and even after a hot shower I still haven't warmed up!

Sandra, if you want to aim for a size lower, then go for it.
I do share the concern about looking older though. My beautician, who has looked after me for over twenty years, has warned me not to lose much more as my face will fall in as she put it. Currently she says I look forty though I am over fifty!
She says she has two clients who kept dieting till they hit the magic number but that their faces have aged by ten years at least!! She also said the face needs some fat in it for definition. I'd rather keep my looks I'm afraid. You will know best how you might look if you lose a bit more. Rock on if you get there and look great. You'll really wow your new clients!
 
Phew I've eaten rather a lot today, woke up starving and came back from Pilates and gym even more starving! So here's the damage......

B fruit n fibre, milk, Vitamin C drink, banana
L egg Mayo sandwich, made with 2 slices wm bread, large egg and a tblsp Maille Mayo :D my fave! Handful of cherry toms
Snack a slice of toasted hot x loaf, elf spread
D home-made chicken curry, boiled rice, 1/2 a garlic and coriander naan. A large glass of Oyster Bay SB
Will have a hot choc later and perhaps a red devil or two.....

Total calories millions ........will input when I've added up the damage

I've had way too many carbs so doubtless tomorrow it'll show on the scales:( but I should have loads of energy so perhaps I'll have an even better workout tomorrow .....
 
2225 calories 679 over......blimey! That's yesterday's total........the scary bit is mfp telling me that if I ate like that every day I would PUT ON 5lbs in the next 5 weeks! That's the first time it's told me that....so back on the straight and narrow today. Jumped on the scales and was 11st 1lb so a lb up, going to stick rigidly to my allowance today, no extras cos I'm having a day off from the gym and it's too cold, wet and windy to go out on my bike:(

It certainly is! I wanted to go to the gym but it's going to be mental there today as there is a charity spinathon......already calculated my dinner and am deffo going to be over again today. Tried that graph but can't get it up on iPad so need to go upstairs and use the computer.

I like mfp though and my weight seems to be perfectly stable, though I'd still like to lose a few lbs, so must be doing something right:D
 
Today's food

B porridge, half milk, half water, splash of evap
L 70g Brie, an apple
D sea bass with lemon and rosemary, new spuds, carrots and broccoli. A large glass of SB. Got the M&S meal deal but will have the pudding tomorrow cos I've already had enough calories
Hot choc later.....2 red devils:D

Total 1402 calories so 202 over cos I haven't done any exercise today except some gardening.

It was Jan, that £10 meal deal was really good value. I got the sea bass, new potatoes, a pudding (lemon and ricotta cheesecake) and a bottle of SB, should've come to £19.31!
 
I know - they're great value - the valentine one I got from tesco came to just over £30 - for £15 :D:D xx
