Sandra's maintenance diary.....

Thx sweetheart......hopefully the weather is gonna be good, shopping for roof tiles tomorrow, gardening (cripes that makes me sound old!) on Saturday, then go cycling on Sunday and pop into St Malo or Dinan on the way back to the boat for a bite of lunch.....Croque Madame s'il vous plait.....about a million calories, well it was 32 ww pp:eek: no idea how it can be that much

Just made a new, well very old really, discovery.....wagon wheels! 156 calories each, not bad and it was lovely and chocolately! I am really fancying chocolate this week......can't use TOTM as an excuse cos I had all my equipment removed years ago.....

Oooo I used to LOVE wagon wheels - you really felt as though you'd had something after one of those!

Have a FAB weekend Sandra :D xx

Oh wagon wheels are delish arent they! I saw them on monday at asda but resisted buying them as i knew i'd eat em for the sake of it!

Whats Croque Madame ????

Love wagon wheels but they are sooooooo small now! Have a fabulous time in France xx

I always thought they got smaller cuz I got bigger!! :giggle:

Croque Madame is the French version of a toasted ham and cheese sandwich with a poached egg on top. At least that's what I remember them as, as it's been a while since I wad in France.

I agree with Debs, the wagon wheels are deffo smaller than years ago.

Sandra, bon voyage and have a great time in France. Hopefully the weather will be nice for you. Its been lovely in Wales today, lovely and sunny. Isn't it great to see the nights drawing out. Its lovely to come to work on a nightshift and its still LIGHT.

Hi Sandra :)

Just popping in to catch up with your news. Looks like you're trotting along nicely, and hopefully those scales will reward all your hard work very soon - I'm sure they will :)

On the phone debate - iPhone all the way here. Had iPhone 3, and upgraded to 4 when it came out. Love it. Would say it's a mini version of the iPad though, with the phone attached. I have a Macbook Pro as well, which I adore. I know Apple really corner you, but I love what they provide, so am happy with that :)

Have you had any feedback from your interview in London yet?

Hope you have a lovely time in France :)

xx

That'd be a healthier version.....I've only ever seen them with a fried egg! We go to a lovely restaurant where they make them with country French bread, don't know how to explain it, and gorgeous ham, huge mixed salad with walnuts and pine nuts and a fabulous dressing.......as I said about a million calories!

Anyway, today's food

B fruit n fibre, milk, vitamin C drink
L chilli and coriander king prawns and a mixed salad. Muller light yogurt, a pear
Snack a wagon wheel
D roast fillet of beef, roast potatoes, carrots and broccoli. Raspberry
cheesecake ice-cream.....it was lovely! Had quite a big bowl and just worked it out to be about 200 calories so not bad in the scheme of things!
Hot choc, 2 red devils

Total 1531 net 1131 did 400 calories worth on the treadmill, trying to build myself back up to 700 calories an hour but it's a slow process!

Evening all! I hope that everyone had a great weekend.......

Well I pigged it a bit all weekend and got quietly pissed Thursday, Friday and Saturday night! So was obviously expecting the scales to look horrific this morning and, true to form, they were! Was 4lbs up:eek: got to get rid soon as so put sensible head on.....

Today's food

B Slimfast shake
L Exante soup
Snack wagon wheel, I know that I shouldn't have but I needed a sugar rush when I can back from the gym......that's my excuse anyway!
D two soft-boiled eggs, two slices toast, elf spread. Caramel dessert
Hot choc

Total calories 1372 net 922

A good start to the week!

Now off to catch up on your posts......

Quietly pissed?? You're no fun!! ;) ... :D

4lbs over the weekend will be off by this weekend if you're spot on so I wouldn't worry about it in the least. Glad you had a good time :D xx
