Sandra's maintenance diary.....

Did you drink the 3 bottles Tan??? :) I had 2 glasses of red with dinner.........if we had some wine in I'm not gonna lie I'd be drinking it lol xx

Lol we are onto our second!!! Rosé just goes down too easy doesn't it!! :giggle:

Scrambled eggs & wine!! Barf lol x

That it does, I can easily drink a bottle whilst I'm putting my make-up on getting ready to go out! As for drinking in the garden in the summer.......well it's like lemonade!

Which is your favourite? I like M&S's pink Pinot Grigio:D

Lucky you :) Although I'm not a fan of rose. Love red but wouldnt say no to white :)

Oh god yes!!! Easily put away a bottle before heading out - makes the night cheaper too!!

Absolute fave is Blossom Hill White Zinfandel it really is like drinking juice it's divine!!! Partial to the White Grenache too and also like the pink chill from the co-op failing that I usually but whatever is on offer 3 for £10 usually. The ones we have tonight are echo falls White Zinfandel.

Never had m&s wine, usually cuz I'm a cheapo lol x

I will look out for those and give them a tasting!

The M&S is lovely but can't remember what it costs.......don't drink much so don't worry if it's expensive when i do:D

:giggle:
Defo give the blossom hill White Zinfandel a try it's delish!! X

Thx Mary! I'm sat here researching their website so that I go well prepared....

Today's breaking news....

I have lost a lb! It's been a whole month since I lost the last one.....must run upstairs and use the proper computer to change my stats. I'm now 10st 13lbs, looking back I was that for a single day last month but didn't record it, cos i thought that it was a blip, and the scales never went back down again:( I am going to record this littler bu88er in the hope that it stays lost!

BTW I didn't have a drink at all last weekend, wonder if that's got anything to do with it? And ate more than usual last week cos all the workouts made me starving so I ate more than I should've according to mfp:confused:

Sandra, all the best for your interview. Well done on the pound down. Don't know if the lack of alcohol helped. Though they say alcohol has to be processed by the body first before the cals in any food, so who knows!! All that matters is that IT'S GONE!!!!

Congrats on the job! Must be a good feeling! We want to come over to Jersey for a mini break in the summer and didn't know if you could recommend some nice places to go or thing to do?

who cares what mfp says, you lost a 1lb thats fab. Maybe you need more calories that what the website says x

That's exactly what I thought! I've been eating loads and working out loads too......feel fabulous and I've got tons of energy! I haven't felt this good since 2004:D

Well done on your jobs and great news on the pound. 10 stone something at last!!!!

Thx Cate. Bit of a quandary now though, the CEO on the first job rang tonight and asked why I hadn't accepted their offer (especially as it was far more generous than I was expecting) and I had to explain that I had a second job in the offing and I needed more time......it didn't go down well. Hopefully I'm going to get it all on paper tomorrow but I'm at a funeral and then the wake so I won't be around a lot of the day.

Decisions, decisions, decisions!

So today's food

B fruit n fibre
L minestrone soup, 2 pears
D M & S paella, glass of SB (Paul thought that we should celebrate my success!)
Hot choc and 4 little chocs (got a gorgeous box from the guy who rents my flat, he's a poppet.....)

Total 1272 no exercise today as didn't have time

Go with your gut Sandra. Whichever one is going to make you happier :)

All sounding very positive on the jobs front Sandra. Don't be pushed into a decision. Take your time and make the right one for you.

What a nice situation to be in Sandra - only you know which one is best suited to you.

Good luck in your decision.

Ok, so breaking news (again) I got a formal offer for the second job too and I accepted it! So after nearly two years off am going back to work, oMG I can hardly believe it! Was a bit weird really, cos I had this fantastic news about the job just as I was about to leave the house for my Aunty's funeral.....all I wanted to do was grin but it was hardly appropriate......

Anyway, the funeral was basically a funeral, sad but funny cos my aunty was a nutter! Went back to my cousin's for the wake but didn't eat anything and only had a black coffee cos I didn't feel like eating and was too busy talking to people. Went for a bottle of wine with one of my cousins and am now back home. I've only had a bowl of cereal (ok and 1/2 a bottle of SB) all day and I'm starving but Paul's in a meeting and god knows when he'll be back, I've got a casserole in the oven but I might have to have some toast cos I'm starving .....
