I still think you are saintly regardless of your WI tomorrow x

Are you entitled to tax credits? you might get extra with the childminding - will keep my fingers crossed for you

I used to work 6 on, 2 off, 30 hours a week, 6 hours a day, after I had Noah I changed my hours/rota to 3 days was Mon, Tues, Weds 9-5:15, 22.75hrs a week and then I get four lovely days to be mummy but 3 lovely days to be Donna (if you know what I mean)

I am sure the right job will find its way to you soon xxx

It's really difficult because I had a good, well paid job as a PA before and I don't wantmy skills to be wasted really, or join the bottom of the ladder again when I spent the last 8 years moving up it. There are some jobs I really fancy which I've applied for, full time, but I'm ok with that I think.

Not sure about tax credits as they've recently changed the maximum earnings threshold and not sure we'd be eligible, we're not at the moment. I don't know - going to go and have the interview and see how it goes.

Yay went swimming today with the baby so a bit of exercise.

Chickencake is in the oven, mmm can't wait. Also got a tray of roasted veg in the oven after a fruitful shop in aldi!

OMG Chickencake was gorgeous, really flavoursome. Not sure I'd make it again though as I'm quite a frugal cook and chicken, bacon and sausages would normally make 3 meals not 1!
Had a huge plate of roasted veg with it - pepper, courgette, onion, mushroom with herbs, fennel seeds and balsamic vinegar. Yum yum yum

No, I'm being made redundant at the end of my maternity leave - our whole office closed in December and the closest one is Bristol! Otherwise I would probably have gone back full time as I was on a good salary.
Can't complain that much I am getting a good redundancy package but I'm itching to get back now after over 9 months off

Well I stayed the same which I'm pretty pleased with after our hol!

So onto this week... Well today and tomorrow morning are off plan. It's our anniversary today and last night we booked a spontaneous night away in Cardiff! So excited!
So we'll be going out for a nice meal tonight, and might go to the cinema too. Then of course there is the hotel breakfast in the morning yum!

But then I'll be on plan rest of the week with more buggyfit Friday - eek!

Had a fab couple of days - a cinema date followed by a lovely meal at a steakhouse, with a free upgrade at the hotel for our anniversary! Even though we were so exhausted we were in bed at 9.30 and got up at 8!!
Then we had a lovely day in Cardiff bay with Bella who was good as gold all day.

Back on plan tomorrow and warned hubby no sabotaging for the rest of the week!

Things looking positive on the job front, had an interview today for sainsburys and it went really well, find out next week.
Plus I've got an interview next Friday for a local(ish) private school, working in the office. It's a fab job but full time. Just have to wait and see. It's the school that roald Dahl went to so that's pretty cool

Well 1lb off for me this week - pretty pleased as I certainly wasn't even close to 100%.

Need to make a bit of a meal plan for this week now, although I am barricaded in the house today as I've got a nasty chesty cough which I need to shift before my interview Friday. Plus my poor Bella has a nasty cold too bless her. Need to draw a cross on the front door I think!

Yuck feeling very sorry for myself today just want to crawl into bed which is impossible with a baby. So I ate some biscuits today, not many but enough to go over my syns (it doesn't take many though), bad girl

Sounds bliss! Belated Happy Anniversary to you and hubby x

Sounds promising...any news?

WELL DONE! Hope you and Bella are feeling better

We all have days like that..draw a line and jump over it...are you feeling any better today?

No today I feel mega yucky and Bella's got a streaming cold bless her and is really clingy, and I've got zero energy.

Well I was offered the sainsburys job only to find it was temp until the beginning of August, and there's no way I'm committing to pay crèche fees for a badly paid temp job. But looking forward to Fridays interview - its the job I really want although full time will be tough. It'll be good experience even if I don't get the job

Things to make this week:
Smash scones (with what I have no idea)
Fakeaway donner kebab with extra lean beef mince
Syn free coleslaw
Pete's baked bean and ham lasagne
Roasted veggies
Sweet potato wedges with a garlicky dip
Magic oaty pancakes
