Sarah's Target & 10K Mission

Morning ladies! Sadly yesterday didn't go entirely to plan, but I braved the scales this morning and was pretty pleased with 10.10. After all the wine this weekend, it's better than I deserved! Off to do a food shop tonight but good food planned today: B - Muller Greek (1/2) and a nana L - Roasted cherry tomato soup with 1/2 HEXB Ryvita and 1/3 HEXA Laughing Cow Light D - Leftover pulled lamb chilli with a jacket spud, topped with remaining HEXA cheddar Snacks - Alpen Light (1/2 HEXB), Graze box (5) Manic day of back to back meetings at work, which is good for staying on plan!! xxx

Food sounds amaze to be back on plan with :D do you make the soup? (I'm sure you may have said before) and what graze box yummies have you got? xxxx
 
My parents gave us a load of toms from their garden and we couldn't eat them all in time, so I threw them into a roasting tray with some frylight, a shake of dried basil and plenty of salt and pepper then roasted them at 150 degrees for about an hour. Then fried off an onion and some garlic, added the tomatoes and lots of veg stock, simmered for 10 mins, then blitzed. Mega easy and really tasty. The roasted toms are brilliant through pasta too as they are so sweet and yummy! xxx

Definitely trying that! In fact might make it tonight for some easy lunches! How many do you think you need? xxxx
 
If you were buying them, I'd probably say 2 big packs to make just under 1.5l of soup...depending on how thick you want it to be. The toms basically covered my baking tray, so quite a lot! What you really want to do is rummage them in the reduced section and get bargain toms on ther way out! You could also stir through some low fat creme fraiche to make it creamy - Tesco and Morrisons's both do one that's only 24 cals a spoonful. xxx

This week is turning into a mad one. Having some HR issues with one of my direct reports at work so that's massively stressing me out! Hoping to get it sorted today.

Food ended up a bit shifted round yesterday as one of the girls is going on leave for 2 weeks so wanted to go out for lunch so:
L - JP with baked beans and HEXA cheese
D - Leftover chilli with a huge salad and HEXB wholemeal roll
Snacks - Graze (5), Freddo (5)

Today is hopefully going to be green:
B - Bran flakes (1/2 HEXB1)
L - Tom soup with 1/2 HEXB1 Ryvita and 1/3 HEXA1 triangles. Muller Light.
D - Risotto with peas, broad beans and leeks topped with HEXA2 parmesan with 1/2 HEXB2 wholemal roll garlic bread
Snacks - TBC!

Thanks girls. Massively stressful day - one of my DRs has some mental health issues and ended up having a panic attack and going home at lunchtime. I really feel for her, poor thing. It's totally exhuasting managing that sort of situation though, as well as all of the work I should be doing and then trying to re-allocate her workload elsewhere. Boo!!

Have just had a Naked bar because I had a bit of a moment and needed something sweet. There are definitely worse things I could have had, so not going to be cross with myself. xxx

Gosh what a day - I feel shattered! She has been texting me and now feels fine but I'm so tense! All these things are such a minefield - you have to be so careful what you say and do...all I want to do is look after her :( xx
