Ugh...enough of this week already! My Grannie broke her wrist yesterday, I woke up this morning with a migraine and now my boss is back from a couple of days leave and is mega grumpy. Boo!!

Staying on plan though, with another green day:
B - Muller Greek (1/2) with strawbs and rasps
L - Freezer Surprise - I think it's veggie pasta bake!
D - Ended up having veggie stir fry last night as I got back from Grannie's too late for risotto, so having that tonight (HEXA1 parmesan on top) instead with garlic bread as HEXB1
Snacks - Alpen Light (1/2 HEXB2), banana, SF jelly pot (1/2), Milky Way (5) with a warm milk (HEXA2)

Happy humps all! I'm so glad I have Friday off this week so only today and tomorrow to get through!!

xxx

Ooh...my boss might not be so grumpy after all. Just had my 121 and she has encouraged me to apply for a director position (maternity cover) that starts in January. Basically my boss's job but in another team. Having only been here 18 months I'm really flattered she thinks I'm ready for that...and she said she thinks I'm head and shoulders above the other internal candidates she would expect to go for it. The thought of it terrifies me, but it's a massive confidence boost! xxx

Boooo to the migraine and your grannies wrist :(

Hope your day starts to get better soon xx

Aww thanks girls! It's basically a beefed up version of my job, so managing partner relationships but this would be in financial services (which I know nothing about so might need to pick your brains before my interview please, Ging!!). It's director level so feels like quite a big step up and I'd be responsible for a high value portfolio so would be an amazing challenge. It's a global role too so might be some travelling to Russia, Sweden, Germany etc., which would be really interesting. It makes me feel a little bit sick to think about it because I'm quite a lot younger than any of the other PD's so almost don't feel ready, but need to be brave and go for it because, even if I don't get it, it will look good for me to have put myself out there :) xx

Morning ladies!

Happy faux Friday (I'm off tomorrow. Happy Friday Eve for those who aren't! :) ). Ended up being very overtired and grumpy and having a row with Dave over him accidentally washing some of my stuff on a 60 wash so accidentally sampled some cake mix whilst prepping some Halloween cupcakes last night. Not too much and scales are still saying 10.11 tihs morning so hopefully no harm done. He still wasn't talking to me this morning but really hoping he's warmed up a bit by tonight...I did apologise for freaking out :(

Anyway, I'm in the office this morning helping one of the other PM's out with some interviews but hoping to work from home this afternoon to get some stuff done before being off tomorrow. Still have a bit of a headache hanging around so will be nice to get home to some peace and quiet. The only plus side to arguing with Dave last night was that I got a shed load of housework done so the place is spotless ready for us going away tomorrow. I always like to have everything lovely and clean and tidy to come home to! I made some cakes last night which I'm going to top with Jack Skellington faces and maybe some pumpkins/spiders tonight ready to take with us tomorrow.

Fast day today so food planned so far is:
Muller Light (90)
Strawbs/rasps (30)
Sweet & salty popcorn (129)
Small portion of leftover risotto (~200)
Total = ~450 cals

Right, Thursday, let's get this done!! xxx
