I'm so lucky right now. It's gonna be hard going back to work! Had a lovely email from my new boss today so I'm looking forward to getting started :)

Sorry for my lack of presence around here hun. Work has been manic this week and three nights in a row I've fallen asleep while trying to read the diaries. Pure exhaustion!

Your food is looking fab, as is your fabulous clean patio :) your making me want a house! Love my apartment but i'm on a bit of a house buzz at the moment because I want a garden haha.

I also now want to go to a spa because i've never been!

Wow - what a day! Fab time at the spa...especially the super healthy lunch on the terrace in the sunshine. Loads of salad, some couscous, slice of turkey, jacket potato with lentils and feta, 1 pork meatball (4 syns?) Divine! And I'm still really full up! Had a lovely back massage and a pedicure so my feet are now flip flop ready! Went for a swim too, but Mum can't swim so I didn't do many lengths because she doesn't like being left on her own in the water, bless her!

Drama when we got home - we pulled into our cul-de-sac to see a man collapsed on the path that runs close by. Went over to see what had happened and a man from the adjacent houses had called an ambulance. Turns out he's the old dude who does the weekly quiz at the local pub and it had been in the paper that he had a stroke in town last year. We did the recovery position/loosen tie thing and eventually he came 'round. Turns out he was just so drunk he fell over. He was really rude and aggressive whilst waiting for the paramedic to arrive. Guess there's no helping some people! But we stayed with him until they did get there and then left the poor ambulance man to deal with him!

Then had to do a Tesco shop as we have friends over for a BBQ tomorrow. Have just made 1/2 syn jellies with raspberries in for a SW-friendly dessert. Will top with some sweetened fromage frais in the morning and nobody will know it's diet food! We have the following planned: lamb kebabs, turkey kebabs, extra lean burgers in HEXB baps, prawns and a huge salad. Really looking forward to it! Will probably use all my syns on a Thatcher's Gold Cider and some Special K crisps (once I've checked how many syns are in the cider!!)

Yay sounds like your day at the spa went really well, can't wait until me and my friends book our next! Was reading concerned until I read the man was drunk and aggressive towards yous :( still, better to be safe than sorry eh?! Have a lovely BBQ tomorrow- jel! Xx

Tomorrow me and my friends are doing mini golf, not my idea haha but it should be a laugh! Planning on going to a nearby pub afterwards for a few :) Sunday night I'm going to the Big Reunion gig at our arena..well I was a 90s kid! ;) the weather is meant to be nice and I really fancy a bike ride or 2 at some point, think I'll plan some possible routes! Xx

It looks lovely Sarah. I'm glad you had a good day, despite the dramas with the drunken man! I hope your barbecue tomorrow is good too, fingers crossed for the weather although it looks like you're getting much better weather there than we're getting here x
 
Champneys is my favourite. They do the best offers in January where it's all half price. Am currently saving up for a 3 night stay there :D
 
Morning all!

Well, when I got up at 6.30, it was sunny. Now it's clouded over but hopeful it'll perk up again later! The boys are just off for a 60 mile bike ride so my friend and I are off to Reigate for a morning of coffee, shopping and a long walk around the park.

I'm just having some lovely melon for breakfast in the hope that it will push my scales into the 9s for Monday!!

Sounds like you have a lovely day planned! Pics from yesterday have me so green with envy :D its just started to spit here so hope the weather picks up for you.

Aww thanks girls! Here's hoping.

It did rain earlier but it's sunny again now and the BBQ is heating up!

Have had 15 Special K cracker crisps for 4 syns but not planning any BBQ syns so it's all good. Gonna save my cider for another day - will have a sw Pimm's instead!xx
