Sarah's Target & 10K Mission

Hi, you've been very quiet, hope all is well and you had a fab weekend away. Hope you've got another good one planned for this weekend x

Hello lovely ladies! I have come to confess my syns...clearly I've been off the wagon again! I'm so silly and so cross with myself.

I've now got 6 weeks til the big 3-0 and I need to be on it properly full time if I'm going to be back in the 9s for it. Which I really, really want!

Scales this morning say 10.6, which is actually better than I thought they would say. Or than I deserve after what I've consumed!

So anyway, I'm sorry for being AWOL. And being rubbish!

Really hope you're all well? What did I miss?

Ello gorgeous! Yep - tonnes of fun had! And according to the scales this morning, I haven't paid tooooo high a price. I want to lose 8lbs in the next 6 weeks, which probably means a social life lockdown!! Xxx

Wahoooo the girlie returns! :)
You'll see in a mo that I'm also back from Norfolk with tail between my legs (HUGE gain for me in the last 10 days)...so can we be on the 8lbs challenge together!? My scales are at 9.7 this morning so want 8 off to get me to the 8s!

Woo how exciting re the big 3-0....what have you got planned!?
Very happy to have you back!

Hey Gingalingaling!

It's lovely to be back! Your weekend looked super-amazing! Was the hotel lovely?

So glad you're with me for the 6 week challenge. I'm gonna need all the help I can get! Although there's not too much in the diary to pull me off track - seeing Elton John in Hyde Park on 12 July but apart from that the diary is quite quiet, which is good.

Dave is taking me to Champagne for the weekend for my birthday and I'm SO excited! We are staying in a beautiful hotel and going to 4 different producers, including Dom Perignon. Bliss!! Brilliant motivation to get back into those 9s so I can feel a million dollars while we're living the high life :)

Oh jeez...that takes me into overweight BMI again. That's horrible...feel like I've massively let myself down. It's so silly - I've been gorging myself for no good reason. I could have been at target and instead I feel a bit like I'm starting again. Damn and blast.

Well, I suppose there's no point beating myself up. I'm back on plan now...I have 6 weeks to get back into the 9s ready for my birthday and it's all going to be fine!

A little something for all of us back on the wagon this week! (Not written by me, clearly!!) xx

Don't Quit

When you've eaten too much and you can't write it down,
And you feel like the biggest failure in town.
When you want to give up just because you gave in,
and forget all about being healthy and thin.
So What! You went over your points a bit,
It's your next move that counts...So don't you quit!
It's a moment of truth, it's an attitude change.
It's learning the skills to get back in your range.
It's telling yourself, "You've done great up till now.
You can take on this challenge and beat it somehow."
It's part of your journey toward reaching your goal.
You're still gonna make it, just stay in control.
To stumble and fall is not a disgrace,
If you summon the will to get back in the race.
But, often the struggler's, when loosing their grip,
Just throw in the towel and continue to slip.
And learn too late when the damage is done,
that the race wasn't over...they still could have won.
Lifestyle change can be awkward and slow,
but facing each challenge will help you grow.
Success is failure turned inside out,
the silver tint in a cloud of doubt.
When you're pushing to the brink, just refuse to submit,
If you bite it, you write it....But don't you quit!
