i havent dropped it yet, but had bruises lol I do mine in an upstairs carpeted bedroom, but wouldnt want to be sitting underneath if I did let it go!
 
Completed Week 4 today. :)
A day late though as was away over the weekend. Should have been at Zumba too but things got in the way so gave me a good excuse to catch up!!

Who thinks Kron should make a Kettlebell DVD, not just for us (hehe), but for the WORLD, as we all know it would be fabulous!

Yep and kettlebell classes! Shame u dont have a before pic in a bikini 2 sizes too small with a sad face for ur DVD cover Like the celebs do. ?
 
Lol I wouldn't know where to start to make a DVD Don't even know how to do YouTube I am a tad ICT challenged x
 
oooooooooooohhhhhh what about a franchise??? like we could call it KB Gurus. Kron is the Guru.....and Kron you could train us all up and we could all do classes around the country, wherever abouts we live. haha love it!

After a two day hangover, I am still not feeling up to exercising :-(

Morning All

Week 3 Resistance last night, and I found it tough. I think I was struggling with form as my back hurts a bit today, which doesn't normally happen.
I swiched from my 6 to my 4 for the second set so that I could get it finished as I wanted to make sure I was doing the exercises correctly....not just chucking a heavier weight around.
I was sweating bundles though.....so I must of been working hard.
I definitely prefer the 6 for the core exercises (I must have some abs underneath the blubber) but I think alternating the others works better for me at the minute as I think my form does become lazy by circuit 2.

Sweet, well done on finishing :), I dropped one of my bells last week, on my brand new wood floor :eek:........but I got away with it this time phew....Shazz, you aren't far behind, but it must be one killer hangover! ;)
 
Ideal world are crap,still waiting for mine since July...so annoyed as I am for 2weeks and wanted to get into it..time off over soon...not a happy bunny at all..

Well that's my 2nd practice session done. Didn't sweat quite as much as last time and did more than Sunday so I'm pleased. The squats are still a killer and my poor thigh muscles don't know what's hit them! :faint2:

Did everything twice - except the clean - try as I might its not happening. Think I might have deformed hands and wrists!! I actually switched up from my 3kg to my 4kg for the 2nd circuit and on the windmills I managed them this time with the 3kg. My arm didn't wobble nearly as much as on Sunday. Hopefully I can walk tomorrow when I go to work. Not sure if I'm going to tell them what I'm up to - although if I'm walking like John Wayne I might have to :D

Also did a "freestyle" warm up and cool down. Get me!! :p

Just wondering if anyone who bought the Kettleworx set from Amazon( with the extra dvds) has tried the fast abs one yet?

I did workout 1 of fast abs last night and it was really good :)Some tough moves but imagine it'll blast off the fat :)

I've done all 3 fast ab workouts & they are great to do on your inbetween days. Try the Fast Fat Burn too coz it sounds scarier than it actually is I think.

Hubby thankfully took the kitchen floor news quite well considering. I think he was just thankful that nothing else had been damaged. The tiler who put my floor down said that nothing would ever break those tiles but I guess he hadnt came across kettlebells!!!! lol

Well me & hubby took the kids on a nice long walk today which was great. He has a week off work so we're heading to the zoo tomorrow & then I'm hoping to restart with core tomorrow evening!! I've been wearing my tone up flip flops, not that I'm putting any confidence in them alone toning me up but they are comfortable if youre doing lots of walking so any toning is a bonus!!! :eek:

Sorry Shazz I menat to say that I hope youre feeling better soon. Nothing like a champagne hangover!!!! :sigh:

I was joking with hubby about making a dvd, and he said 'you should go for it' lol he thinkks i do very good when I put my mind to things :)

The new DVD has arraived :) my mummy is just getting ready to leave mine to go home, so will be able to have a quick look soon!

Cleogin make sure your not rounding your back - use your hips as a hinge, shoulder back, chest out face looking forward.
Doing great with that 6, and can understand needing to drop down on the second circuit, your working hard :)

Gettingfit - back in the swing of it and already getting ready to start week 3 - time flies so quickly it only seems like you just got it ;)

Sue great your already feeling an improvement in your form. Look at you switching UP on the second circuit :)
I am not sure what to suggest to get a better result with the clean :( You might want to wear some wristbands to protect your arm until you get it

Chick I dare you to give the bonus dvds a go lol they are great for a quick additional worlout :)

Sue try this using your 2
If you can get someone to help you it would be good, if not then just take a bit of care
imagine there is a wall in front of you and squat to grab bell in right hand - you can do this first with no bell
Get someone to hold the bottom of the bell and take the weight, in slow mo start the move
From the floor you will be holding the bell with your wrist pointing behind you and as you get to upright straight position your wrist will be pointing to the left turning into a bicep curl wrist pointing up and your wrist then continues to rotate to point to the left and the bell rolls around your forearm into final position with your upper arm tucked against the side of your boob and your hand in front of your right shoulder
Just keep slo mo and practice a few times
If doing it on your own, practice from upright straight position, and if you want to try the full move after the practice hold bottom of bell with left hand just ensure your not twisting your back
Holding the weight forces your left shoulder around and twists the spine so you could pull something if not careful so protect your back.

I hope I have explained it ok, if not please let me know
