I wanted to say the other day how well everyone was doing!
Sweet, your before and after photos were quite something! And Kron, those pictures are awesome, you really do look brilliant!

As for me, I've just finished week 4 cardio, so core on Wednesday and resistance Friday I reckon...

I am new to the site but wanted to say how inspiring you've been to me. I train with a trainer 3 times p/w and love exercise!!!
The only problem is that I have knee problems which make high impact difficult. Anyway, I just want to echo what you say about Kb's. Weight training is great and provides inch loss. I dont own any myself but am going to buy some in prep for weaning off the trainer (I can't have her forever after all ?).

You inspired me so Much that, despite normally only doing mon, wed, fri I got up and did a session this morning too!

You're a star... Keep on inspiring!

Oh for any of you who like your apps i've got a free app called targetweight and its brill you set you weight and targets and it give you statistics and the target shows on the main page (like when you have a message) to keep you motivated, also BMI and things... just thought i'd share :D
 
Morning all! Hope everyone is grand today! Well even though I did core yesterday I thought I would krank it up a notch and I did resistance today. I would love to see some results by the time I go on holiday so I think I'm going to start doing 3 days on 1 day off, so as of Thursday I'll do cardio, core, resistance on consecutive days and then have a day off before progressing to the next level. On alternate days I think I'll throw in a bit of Zumba in the evenings too. The girls love it so it can be a bit of Mummy Daughter bonding time :) I've done KB's for 3 weeks now (week 1 twice) and I took my measurements this morning so I'll go and dig out my last measurements and compare them on here for everyone :)

Waist: 33.5" 32.5" -1
Hips: 38" 37" -1
Bust: 38" 37" -1
Thigh: 21.5" sts boo
Arm: 11" sts boo

Well done Piggy - that's excellent. You must be pleased with those results in just 3 weeks? I'm waiting till the end of the programme and then will get himself to remeasure me. Any inch loss is good as far as I'm concerned! :D

Impressed with your planned new regime as well. I think I would struggle every day but could probably go to every other day at some point. Just not yet! :)

Duh duh duh, wk3 core bites the dust! (Sing along now, Swingers :D)

Love the windscreen wiper ones, have a love/hate relationship with the plank - sheer determination and bloody-mindedness comes into play by the 3rd one, and still not mastered passing the bell under my scissoring legs as I'm sat down. Keep catching the bell on my thighs which then throws me off balance so I end up putting my heels down. It'll come together, I'm sure.

Looking forward to Wk3 resistance after work on Thursday, although Donzy's got me worried! Thanks Pal!! :p

Did the warm up again with my 7.5kg - I can really feel the difference. Will definately use for some of the "swinging" ones within the workout. I'm enjoying having the flexibility of mixing and matching.

Well done Numnums!!!

I done week 3 core this morning & instead of fast abs after I had a go at Krons ab exercises & well 2 hours later & what can I say other than Ryan is a breeze in comparison!!!!! I really pleased myself by managing to do them all & i really did enjoy doing them as my abs felt well & truly worked afterwards which is great!!!! I'm really looking forward to that achey abs feeling tomorrow!!!!:eek:

Kron thank you soo much I honestly did really enjoy the ab exercises & its great to have something new to add to my routine
 
Leaving work in 10 mins.....going to attempt Week 5 Cardio swiftly followed by Week 6 Core :eek:

Hi Mama mia, thanks for popping in and if you get a bell, you must join us :) Its hard to believe that exercise can be so enjoyable - esp me who was gold champion for lying on the couch lol. Now I do miss not having a swing ;)
How did you find having a personal trainer, was she really mean and get you doing that bit more when all I would want to do is fall over!

Donzy those weakling arms getting stronger :) You are a gadget girl, I wouldnt know where to start most of the time lol Will be looking forward to seeing if you get any inch loss :)

Numnum wow you are definitley giving it some doing it daily, with just a days break in between. Zumba with the girls sounds loads of fun for all of you.
WOW inches lost - well done, so pleased, your measurements are alot smaller than mine when I started out! so hope to see you disappearing more really soon
2lb = 4 inches lost :) you wont get that by just dieting

Sue you will master those planks lol a bit of bloody mindedness can go a long way :) Start using your 7.5 for swings, squats etc, you can always drop down if its difficult and it will challenge you a bit more!

Hi Kron - yep will be using the bigger for the swinging stuff. Basically whatever I can really. Perhaps not core though. Don't fancy having that bad boy dangling over my face when I'm on my back with my legs in the air!! Ha Ha ha - ooooooh Matron!! :D

Kron, just ordered my 8kg bell so am looking forward to lifting and swinging. Will let you know how I get on.

My trainer is wonderful. At first I wanted a boy (I like it hardcore) but, as she is a relatively new mum too (DD is 2) she struck the right balance. I also found her super flat tummy inspiration in itself! You mean Theres a possibility that i will no longer have to tuck my tummy into my knickers anymore? Lol

She's not hardcore but she has a shed load of exercises in her goody bag and, in the 50 sessions I've had so far, no two have been the same!
She advocates weight training and we use kb's and all sorts of other goodies Inc my beloved medicine ball *smiles dreamily*

I get up at 5am before DD wakes and do my thang in the woods with PT, and then go to work full time (check me out!!) lol. I LOVE it and now turn to exercise to cope with the stresses and strains of life and management!

Am carp when it comes to the eating but I'm getting there. I've dropped a stone and have many more to go but am determined!

I am so glad to now have a place to bang on about my obsession with exercise without sounding like a freak!

As if more inspiration is needed, I keep forgetting to post my inch loss. Numnum has reminded me, and she is littler than when i started ;)

Now i took my measurements when I started sw end of July 2010, and reached weight target in Feb 11, started kbs in Oct 10, and was buying little clothes in April 11, so I dont think I have lost too many inches since then and the end result is I have lost a total of 22 inches :)

bust minus 7" - ok hubbys not best pleased with that lol
waist minus 8"
hips minus 7"

Power to the bells :)
